Mirroring won't solve the issue of using that part as a single central 'fin'. They need to make that bloody thing symmetrical. BTW this is not the only ship builder glitch. Quite a few hardpoints, parts and hulls that are supposed to be symmetrical are in fact not (at least not on a pixel-by-pixel basis).
