Upon closer inspection I think that this was because the price of water exceeded the price of energy momentarily, but I think the game logic here should be improved, especially if you have a surplus of water, but no energy production whatsoever.
Hi, Something funny happened in my game. I own the Cold Fusion patent, so all my buildings were powered by water. I deployed some space pirates to intercept the shipments of my enemies, but I think they intercepted some power as well. So now, all of my buildings are consuming power instead of water (and obviously I have no infrastructure in place for energy and a bunch of surplus water).
