For me it was avast internet security opening in sandbox mode without me knowing it did, so i stoped it and the game loads up now. Hope this helps

Blank Menus in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I just instaled galactic civilizations 2, dark avatar, and twilight of the arnor from impulse and when i play the games, all the menus are blank, and there blank ingame aswell. Any help would be nice
