What is your pick for the best overall race in Dark Avatar and why? My vote goes to the Yor. The production bonuses and small economics boost are very helpful.

I'm playing as the Yor on a large map on tough and the Torians declare war on me relatively early in the game. I had a pretty large military at the time, yet on the relations tab it says Torians are strongest in both military and economy. It even claims I have a military strength of 250ish while the Torians are over 300. Now this is where it gets weird. Game keeps crashing in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

Since the beta patches were released all of my games have ended in a crash. Usually it takes 30min - 1 hour before it crashes, but I've yet to complete a game because of this. My hardware is more than enough to run this game...any idea what could be causing this and how I can fix it?
