Not sure if it's been mentioned before... But a game option to stop races from building starbases in territory owned by another. Anything to stop the starbase spam across the map would be fantastic. And yes I know there's a UP event to charge for starbases in another races territory, but that never stops the AI from doing it anyway.
I've stopped using the Thalens as AI enemies on my games, it's not fun when you can predict the entire galaxy culture-flipping to the Thalens -every single time-.
In all my games with the Thalen being played by an AI, they end up destroying everyone else. Not through warfare, but simply from all those damn embassies they construct. Within a few dozen turns half the map is considered their territory and they have planets defecting to them left, right, and centre. It's a nightmare.

A very simple question... is it possible to make techs or components that only a certain race can research/build? Or a way to set it so that only a human player will ever get them? I've tried setting AIValue to 0 in TechTree.xml, but it is still build regardless. So... any ideas?
I just tried again and for some reason it worked. I didn't re-type any details, change the serial key, or anything. I just hit the register button and for some magical reason it decided to work. I can only guess that it took 3 days for my details to be entered into the database or something. Anyway, downloading now! I just hope things go smoothly from here on. I have exactly the same problem as you, bahwan. I still havn't been able to get any help with it either.
Tried it, no luck. Besides it was the version from the Stardock online shop, not the Paradox version.
I'm getting really worried too. I purchased the game and I'm having problems with Stardock Central realising that. I got the confirmation and serial key after I did my order, however when I try to register the game in Stardock Central so I can download it it keeps giving me errors.

I havn't changed my email address at all, and it is the same one I used to purchase the game AND setup Stardock. It doesn't have any fun
