Frogboy, I think everyone will understand if it needs to be cut, and although you may get one or two whiners I think most people here will be able to respond like adults. That said, I know that a lot of people like writing Action Reports, and I still see a need for some kind of feature that enables you to keep track of everything that happens in the game (I tried it, taking notes is really hard). For those that don't know, the very first Civ game

Agreed. I still wouldn't want them to be as common as they were in the vanilla game, but a few more would be nice. I've yet to see a single one in 2.5 games.

Some things I noticed: 1. Ships on autopilot charge through asteroids instead of going around. 2. Minor races only appear if set to random, but choosing a number (I took 8) results in no minor races. 3. Deleting an old ship design, and then designing a new ship with the same name results in the game "forgetting" where the components go, making the ship look like a mess. 4. Tile improvements don't show up. I've heard others have seen a few, but I haven't seen O

I met my best friend online. We've visited each others countries, and I'm going back to see her again in February. We e-mail each other every day if we can't chat on MSN, or failing that, send text messages to each other.

I can't believe I got onto my second game before I noticed. I don't remember reading that they've been disabled for the moment, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not wrong, then that may be even scarier. Where oh where have my lovely tile improvements gone?

Don't worry, when they appear in Sanbox mode they're pretty weak. They send out streams of constructors like a minor would do. (I assume it's because they don't have all their uber tech). They probably work better in the Mega Event.

There are two things about the Epic Story Generator that are going to take a lot of time. The first is the actual coding and debugging, and the second is the creation of all the flavour text. I don't know how you're going about the latter, but I'm sure a lot of players would be interested in helping you. I assume they would need a list of events that create parts of the story.

It happened after about 2 hours of play, but I'm not sure what caused it. Any windows I brought up left an echo on the screen, and it became a muddle of graphics. I somehow managed to save, and quit. When I reloaded it was fine, and has been ever since.

I started my second game, and after deselecting Random Opponents their race logo appeared as one of the portraits. I cleared them out and put one of the other races in their place, and now I haven't been able to recreate it. Perhaps it only happens the first time the game is run with Random Opponents (variable not being initialized properly before it saves your previous settings?).

Are you sure the 2 tiles you were looking at were the only ones? On my new worlds I can see two yellow ones. I think the orange and red ones don't show up until you get more terraforming techs. Maybe there were others you couldn't see.

Oops. I didn't see this when I made my own thread. I just got them in sandbox mode by selecting random opponents (i'm not using the Dread Lord scenario). I also gave them a research and economic treaty for the same from them, plus 20,000BC. They must have had a change of heart or something.

I just started my first game of Dark Avatar, and I selected my usual opponent settings (all random races). During the game I nearly crapped myself when I saw a Dread Lord constructor show up by one of my planets. I didn't select the Dread Lord scenario, so I'm wondering if it's a bug that they show up in this way. If it's by design, then it totally ruins the random opponent feature. Another thing is, I wanted to keep them on my side in case they get teasy and destroy me. I offe

Hmm, I always thought the Arceans look kinda cool. Much better than the Thalans and Korx anyway. PS Don't you think that the Arcean leader looks a bit like Vin Diesel?
