Tinker's sovereign abilities give *far* more lore than their descriptions say in Sorcerer King Support SorcererKing Forums

The Archivist ability's description is that it gives +1 lore per goody hut, and +5 lore per completed quest. The Master Archivist ability's description is that it gives twice that, and an equal amount of sovereign skill. Instead, playing version 1.5 with the Tinker sovereign and the Master Archivist ability, gaining lore with that ability gives a lot more than that. That's not the bad part. Everything I've read refers to them as interplanetary, but with no useful save games available experimenting would require playing a brand new multi-star game to T8 and I was hoping to study this spring. Thanks in advance.

Tell me, experts, specialists, and people who squeeze every last possible inch of advantage out of the game mechanics, does the game being 3D have tactical value? I'm [i]told[/i] that ships can move up or down with the 'd' button, but can that do anything but hamper their movement?
