Reply to Sins of a Solar Empire v1.1 Beta has Arrived in Sins News Sins Forums

I sincerely hope that the need to load .NET onto my computer in order to do a simple download for a game update is only temporary, and that after beta I can download this normally. If I have to add .NET, then sorry, I don't like your games enough to saddle my computer with that junk just to do a download, particularly when you'd only require that because of some bogus marketing reason ("need to get their eyes on Impulse!").

Farms on bonus land not counted for food production in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

The title says it all, basically when I build a farm on the enhanced (+300%?) farming land, it did not get counted towards the total food production on my planet, which remained at 5 (from the original colony). I tried destroying and rebuilding the farm on the land multiple times, and it didn't work. I then built an additional farm on another spot, and wound up with 13 food production (5+8 for the upgraded farms I had at the time) which still didn't include the enhanced land farm. T
