All the judge did during the injunction hearing is deny stardock the ability to prevent DMCA takedowns. They said stardock broke the status quo by releasing the game with ongoing proceedings yet to be resolved. However, now that the DMCA has been used, Stardock are fully entitled to publish a DMCA takedown if Reiche and Ford release their precursors game. DMCA notices are issued under the penalty of perjury, which is why dodgy and poor DMCA notices never go to court as t

Art style wont fit everyone, however, the controls are very fluid. With a mouse pointer you can draw a very accurate path. No more worrying about the AI walking into walls and going the wrong way or cutting through enemy bases. In game play video 2 part 2 Jonny shows how you can use the painted trails to guide your units along a narrow path between enemies to attack from a different angle. The use of different colored trails also helps to direct your different troops
I like what I see.
3 Cheers for Frogboy :) I personally think it is cool and innovative idea. there are not enough RTS games, let alone RTS/SIM hybrids. I have never met the team but their regular and clear updates have given me oodles of confidence. I just hope that supporters can help to spread the word. They will also be updating the intro video this week so that it bett
Graphics look horrible. The video on the kickstarter site is just some "Wii Memes" running around....
The graphics are styled to be different, these are guys who built Little Big Planet and created the mod system. They plan on releasing a new updated video that shows how the game works in greater detail, to replace the current one. This way backers don't have to watch all the updates to un
Quoting pacov, reply 26 Quoting Frogboy, reply 26I hate seeing Demigod painted as if it were some sort of failure of a game. Connecting tens of thousands of people at once on differing connections worldwide is very hard to do. Obviously, if we had had to do it over again with the benefit of hindsight, we'd have done it as F2P. But back then, retail was king. It was the primary way to get games into people'

From one decent guy about another decent guy. I put my faith in you regarding WOM and Enchanted Sorceress, now I do it for Chris Taylor. Its such a shame that studios have to fight so hard to make games that people love. Too often studios are pushed into difficult situations and it has been made worse for GPG because Chris cares about his staff. I own so many stardock and GPG games... Life would be dull without them.

Having devoured every other Stardock game I tried WOM and found it... boring. The 1st adventure started grand but it didnt feel epic or challenging. So I am glad to say that I have jumped on your fallen enchantress bandwagon. Wallet of endless money +1 to the amusing Frogboy, whose forum posts alone were worth the £24.99

Even stood up for Brad on Gamasutra once before [e digicons][/e] - when Demigod hiccuped a lil. About me Loved Sins. wasted hours on Gal Civ II and enjoy engrossing strat games that dont require the selling of my soul... eg. I can pause to spend time with kids.
