I'm having this problem too. I'm not even sure what the procedure is to handle these, if there's a specific order I'm missing. I've gone into the game launcher and used the "Update Serial" function. Then I go to the bottom of this site and click, "Register," input my key and get "Error 3: Serial Number Is Not Registered To This Account" and "* Your GalCiv II Serial Number was not registered." messages. Then I try to activate 1.11 and get another error. I've emailed both [email protected] and

Re. Co-op programs, the University of Waterloo (in Ontario, Canada) has an excellent co-op program, in which several major companies participate, such as Microsoft, ATI, RIM, IBM, etc. They're usually four-month placements, which may be a bit short, but there's a large student pool from which talented programmers-to-be can be selected and because of the short placements, Stardock may end up less handicapped by its location, as students are more willing
You can "guard" or "sentry" your ships if you don't want them to be jumped to at all. Might not be exactly what you're looking for but...
If you're talking about Siege, here's my strategy: Spending to 100%, taxes to 0%. You don't actually need taxes at 0%, just however low you need to get morale up to 100%. Mass expand with purchased colony ships. You can take the costs because you have so much money to start, and the Arceans and Altarians start off with huge cash reserves that you can drain with your future tech. You shouldn't run out of money unless you start purchasing achi
Personally, I'd imagine the goal would be to max out your spending at 100% at all times. I've tried playing games with farms and without farms, and I find that without farms, I'm usually forced to limit spending, at which point, why the heck would I build more factories and research centers, since they would go idle anyways - I could just increase funding to my existing ones for the same effect. But at the same time, you don't want to be making too muc
I've been playing the game for a week or so now, and after a few days, I thought I'd try my hand at designing some ships for myself. I'm not the most creative person, so my designs aren't very good and I stole a lot of elements from the core designs - which aren't upgradeable, so I tried my best to reverse-engineer them from observation to my chagrin. So I had a handful of ship designs. Then I realised that if a ship had tech on it that
Has anybody out there figured out the entire campaign mission order yet? I played through the whole campaign, not losing once, but, having talked with a friend of mine, I don't recall ever playing Siege. When I load up my old Darkness Rising end-game save, I seem to jump straight to Apocalypse as my next mission. When I resign Darkness Rising, I somehow skip to having lost Achilles' Heel, where I have the choice to try again or move to Arms Race.
Just wanted to chime in on what Cold_Illusion stated: Personally, my machine has multiple hard disks. I keep the content on them seperate and organized, effectively partitioned to minimize my data loss issues. Like most users, I set up C:\ as my system drive, where my OS, utility programs and files go. But I've rerouted My Documents to D:\, which is where I store my personal files, music, photos, documents, etc, and E:\ is where my gaming go
