Is hard. I am playing the campaign for the first time. I am on the second mission, and the Drengin are kicking my everloving butt. I cannot seem to research as fast as they can, although I am doing like 78% of the research in the galaxy. Tehy are way ahead of me in weapons tech. Not only that, but although I colonized 5 of the 7 planets, they seem to be able to pump out ships much faster and at a faster rate than I can. Also,

I play with mostly technology research enhancements and morale enhancements. Don't recall the exact number, but I play as the Technologists to increase my research.
I thought our moon orbited in the same direction the earth rotates, only more slowly, so that accounts for the time difference every night in the position of the moon. If you go out and look at the moon every night you will notice it is in the same position approximately an hour later every night. That's because the moon orbits more slowly than the earth rotates, not because the moon orbits a different direction. I could be wrong about this.
In the game I'm in now, I have not worried that much about diplomacy, to begin with at any rate, but I took over a minor races planet and put a dent in the Terran Alliance and most of the other races respected me highly.
How do you control population? I think almost every one of my planets with very low morale is that way because its overcrowded, but aaside from building colony ships, and then destroying them, I do not see a way of controlling population. This is bothering me. If I just let the planet builds these ships, I tie up resources I need to fend offf the Drath legion, and the population growth seems to be greater than my building of the colony ship. Help!!!
I am finally playing a game where I am winning, thanks to lowering the number of habitable planets. I just realized though, that early on in the game, the AI has colonies everywhere on the map. I however am limited to the area that my ships can travel. How is that?
I agree. I would llike to see ship creations in one place. And on a side note, is this the same MOIISKA from... I can't remember if it's Fark.com or Mustangworld.com?
So... those are all the modules I can get? Dang. I wanted more. Seriously, some of those modules are kind of funky looking and when they are put on a hard point, don't always line up if they are side by side. I was kind of hoping I could download more options.
That was the problem with that game and why I started over. I couldn't research anything or build anything. I had no money, no taxes were coming in, and research had dropped to zero. SOL, that was me.
Does it make a difference if I have one planet with nothing but farms, one with nothing but manufacturing centers, one with banks.. you get the idea. Or should I have a few of each on each planet? My thinking on this is initially that it makes sense that the farms of each world would increase the population of that planet, but do they transport food automatically? Is that even an issue int his game? As detailed as the rest of it is, I would think so. But I can't tell.
When I downloaded the game from Stardock, I thought I was ordering the Collector's edition, but now I am not so sure. How can I verify if I did or not?
Whoops.... Already started a new game and saved over it. TO tell you the truth, I have no idea what "native ability" is either, but it sure did set me up. My very first game, I played as the Terran Aliiance in a sandbox game. I had a rebellion then too, but my approval rating shot up after it, mainly because all the disaffected planets were gone. I then proceeded to stomp them into t
Okay, I began play as a custom race, with lots of technology and research bonuses, trying to get a step ahead of the competition. I spent considerable time colonizing as many planets as I could on a gigantic map, stil to see the Terrans with more than 75% of the galaxy under their blue borders. About 2 hours into it, after I have spent a lot of time creating economic starbases around my planets, and some planets, too. I had one Class 26 planet. My approval plummeted from about 60
I just wondered because every time I clicked on a minor race ship or planet, it kept telling me to raise my espionage level, but I could find no way to do that.
I love the Snathi. Wish I could play them
What am I missing here? How do you get to examine your ship up close like that instead of the small window? And how do you change the colors like this to make it darker? I've seen several screenshots posted like this.
How do I perform espionage on minor races? I see where I can spend money to perform it on the major races, but nowhere can I see how to perform it on the minor races. I spent quite a bit on the major races, thinking perhaps it would spill ove, but it never did.
That is friggin awesome. I want one.
