Well, I contacted the manufacturer of my notebook, which is IBM, and they have told me that the cards would be compatible with my notebook. I'm completely new to this, so any ideas about what to do would be welcomed. Cheers.

I have for the past month been looking for a upgraded graphics card for my Thinkpad G41. So far, I have looked at nVidia GeForce Go 6600 and ATI Mobility Radeon x700 series, but everytime I search for a specific product either on the manufacturer's web page or even a third party page such as Amazon or Best Buy, I cannot find any cards for notebooks but only ones for desktops. Any of you all know of any links that can take me a site that I can purchse
I am currently at a university that uses proxies to get through to the internet and network. I tried to use Metaverse but everytime I try, it tells me that there is no connection available. Now, I know that there is one becasue I can surf the web whenever and I'm pretty sure that I cannot go in Metaverse due to the proxy. Is there an option somewhere that allows a proxy configuration or an option to automatically detect the proxy settings? C

With regards to number five, a nice option would be the idea of being able to target certain weapons or engines and disable them with weapons. This would be a difficult feature to implement, but using tactics to take away the weapons, defenses, and manuverabliity, would bring a lot of depth to combat. Just a thought. Cheers.
Sheesh. After two years of work on a game, it's still great to see the amount of devotion you have to your fans. I downladed the digital version, mainly becasue I'm impatient and also that I knew that you all up there at Stardock would see every cent. You guy's earned it. To be honest, I was not expecting the amont of quality that you put into this game. Obviously, I was wrong. Being at college, I'm usually pretty tight on cash, but I made a special exception for this game even though I ha
This isn't too big of a deal. This could be a problem with my video card, but whenever I establish a trade route, there is no evidence of one being there. The colored path of the freighters do not appear and I sometimes forget whether if I established one or not. Any thoughts? Again, this isn't a big deal, just more of an annoyance. -I'm running on XP Pro -English language -INTEL(R) EXTREME GRAPHICS 2 FOR MOB

Just a thought that I had, but is it or will it be possible later in a patch, to learn any techs from a ship that has been traded to you? For instance, suppose you were given a ship that had better weapons, defenses, or better components, would you not naturally learn from this and learn that tech just by owning the ship? This would make game play much more interesting as it will be a considerable gift to any ally or a potential hazard if given to an
Well, my computer is a Thinkpad G41 with a 64 bit graphics card (hopefully enough), so I am of course very grateful that I'll be able to play.
