Personally I've done this with my initial funds and its worked well so far... give me any feedback you like: Just buy the initial factory on all new planets Save all my money.. this allows me to crank up my industrial capacity usage up to 95%+ and if I take a loss of a few BC's each week its not a huge deal. Make tons and tons of ships.. many of them just hulls with engines untill I get weapon tech's and some defense and planetary invasion (make mostly small hulls and cargo hulls)

When I try to launch the game I get that gadget you talked about: like the opening menu where I can pick from update the game, manual, and preload info. So it hasn't had any effect but like I said.. really weird popup.. just hope everything runs right when the final loads up. I'll let you know, and hopefully everything works alright regardless of what that popup said.

Download was great but had one quick question. Upon completion of the download I got some odd popup (no unfortunately didn't save it or memorize it) that said something to the equivalent of "Failed initialization of the program Galactic Civilizations 2" 1) Is this normal? Has it happened to others? a) if its not normal what should I do 2) Is it just that the game attempted to launch Gal Civ 2 and since it is not complete yet until launch-day that it failed because the ga

OMG lol.. I live in Metro Detroit area also . Wish I'd have known such a great computer company was practically in my back yard. Makes me wish I worked more in computers then just playing them. Keep up the good work guys and I hope the game plays as good as it looks like it will so far.
