if your pc came along with a pre-installed OEM vista, then in all probability, you have crapware installed installed on it; ie unwanted software/trialware. use PC deCrapifier to remove all such craplets. also remove all unwanted startup programs using Run > msconfig. follow it up with with a good registry clean-up using freeware like CCleaner.Also see if this thread " WWW Link " helps you.

vista is a visual treat. and i have had no problems with my vista ultimate. it is mostly the pre-installed crapware on OEM machines which are the cause for problems in Vista. i think you will like vista.
