mdawson69: If I'm not mistaken, you can do what you're describing: In OD+, you can insert partitions or placeholders in a dock or use tabbed docks to accomplish the same thing (i.e., each tab is for a particular kind of program). I'm also pretty sure, although I haven't tinkered with it in a while (still working out the 64-bit issues, I believe) that you can reorder items in a dock as much as you'd like. Maybe one of our OD gurus can weigh in on this. . . . &nbs
So it being free means all criticism has no value? Kinda defeats the whole concept of beta testing if that's what you actually believe. Read it again..... I didn't say that.... key words "legit criticism for forcing" as I said....no one is forcing anyone to do anything......so how can there be "legit criticism" of a non-event
I have to second this. JDPower, you are beta-testing Fences not Impulse. Th
My condolences.
For what it's worth, because I can say with a fair degree of confidence that I won't be pre-ordering Elemental, I believe that an extended beta is a great idea. (I'm not pre-ordering primarily for financial reasons; I'm actually rather fond of this genre.) In any case, I think that the kind of hand-in-hand development that can occur by truly incorporating the beta testers into the development cycle of the product can only lead to a superior and more polished (and less buggy) finished p

Good luck, man! Hope your health improves soon.
here's a line in the movie, The Human Stain, that goes "she's not my first love, and she's not my great love. But she is my last love," -- I find that to be a lot more "true" when it comes to looking at the big scope of one's own personal life and the people one ends up sharing it with.
That must be an Anthony Hopkins line; I can hear it in his voice in my head. One would hope that the person who qualifies as the second is always the third. Otherwise, your life is proba

I think everybody would probably be better served if they kept their fingers out of each other's respective pies. Each one has something that they do fairly well. They should work on improving that. In any case, I can't see a Google OS taking a huge marketshare from Windows anytime soon, either.
Congratulations!
I love your beautiful skins! Congratulations on the feature! :CONGRAT:
Recently, I completed the single-player story mode in Saints Row 2 and I have to say, while many criticized the marketing by THQ comparing it to Grand Theft Auto IV , I had a lot more fun with this game than I have with any GTA game I've played before. In fairness, I haven't played the latest iteration in that series, but if it's very similar to the others, and I can't believe it isn't, then I'll stand by my statement. Of course, the Saints Row </e
My condolences for your loss.
Good to have you back, but at least you were gone for a good reason! [e digicons]:)[/e]
Well, I figured I'd pretty much said my piece on this subject, but I ran across this article this morning that should be of more than passing interest to some of the respondents here: link
Well, unless it sold really poorly, I strongly suspect THQ is going to be putting some work into sequels/expansion packs for DoW2.
1) Valve will not deliver additional content for the originalThere's no indication they will do so. They haven't done so yet, and they're already releasing a sequel. Also, the player base will quickly drop as soon as the sequel hits. At best, I'd hope they'd backport a feature or two from the sequel. 2) modders will not mod for the originalI'd have to agree with Vinraith here. If the sequel is supposed to have all the same stuff and
Can you explain what content Valve promised that isn't being delivered? Gabe Newell explicitly promised "more campaigns, more characters, and more weapons." We've seen none of those. As an added bonus, L4D2 undermines the yet-to-be-released SDK for L4D, since modders will be loathe to put effort into mods for a game that will be out of date in a few months. Split the playing community, split the modding community, and

Act of War is in MY book the best rts ever created since 2005. Each side is extremely well balance and the concept of POW is very well implimented. The story, the units, the structures feel very real. Its also quite cheap right now
Yes, but the problem is that the game shipped in a half finished state, and Valve promised more updates, as well as content for it, without mentioning the final SDK. The final SDK is ready, but does that mean that Valve will now rely on the community to come up with the extra content they promised they would make themselves now?
What
I'm still unclear as to why people are so upset. Valve has stated that they don't intend to interrupt the support cycle for the original product while the sequel is in production. People knew what they were buying when they bought it. Vinraith said:
people are just pissed because they feel like they are entitled to free shit.
