I was in GameStop the other day and I saw a retail copy of the new Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion, Storm of Zehir. It apparently comes in a DVD case. When I got my copy of the Premier Edition of Red Alert 3, it came in a package slightly larger than a standard DVD case made of metal. Publishers: what gives?!?! I have a copy of the Collector's Edition of Neverwinter Nights at home and it's easily the largest thing on the bookcase it sits on. Ditto for my Age of Empires III CE, my Age o

Looks good, Skinhit. You might want to invest in discrete sound card (SB X-Fi?). Also, you should try to verify that your existing s/w will work with the 64-bit Vista - I had a few issues with that on my upgrade (my ZoneAlarm ISS won't work with it and my Roxio Creator version is too old, although most of my other software scares turned out to be non-issues). Microsoft's site says a lot more software is incompatible than actually is, it would seem. [quote who="Skinhit"
[quote who="Jafo" reply="7" id="1952162"] and I now agree that this is a very prudent move on your behalf to safeguard your downloads. 'damaging' the preview image with the word 'demo' is more likely to see your submission rejected or at best relegated to your personal pages. There IS no issue with right-click/saving vs normal download, certainly not in a "safeguard" sense. Your uploads are accessible to the public either way, as is your theoretical intent by t

Um, Shadow_of_Light, whatever issues you may have with ZA, the OP was providing a helpful link to folks who may be interested in the software. I've used versions of ZoneAlarm for years and have only recently had to give it up because I moved to a 64-bit OS; I've found it to be reliable and not a resource hog. There are probably many people on these boards who would benefit from this link, and you don't seem to realize that Stardock's forums are not strictly related to gaming (you may
Maybe it's just me, but I just "made the switch" last week, getting a new Vista Home Premium 64-bit desktop and passing my XP Pro desktop on to my missus, and it seems to me that it's much more difficult to get usability out of the start menu in Vista--far more so than was ever the case in XP. I'm thinking I should probably just load my stuff back in ObjectDock + and use the docks for accessing my favorite programs. Does anybody else find that this is one of those things that Vista made worse
I'm good. I got home last night and had to do battle with my wireless router to get my internet connection restored (grr!), but after that I had no problems downloading and activating my Stardock apps. [e digicons]|-)[/e]

Well, I tried with IS and Defender disabled, and I can install some parts of ODNT, but TweakVista, DeskScapes, and WindowBlinds still won't activate.

Hey Lantec, Okay, I'll try that. What is Windows Defender doing anyway? It's been giving me messages about needing to update, but when I tell it to update, it doesn't seem to do anything. Do I actually need this if I'm running Norton IS? Thanks, Brian

I just got a new computer w/ Vista 64-bit installed and I'm trying to put my Stardock stuff on the new machine, but I keep getting activation errors after apps download. Any thoughts?
Yep, that does help, Zu. Any issues with Object Dock or Cursor FX under 64-bit?
I am getting a new computer soon that is preloaded with Vista Home Premium 64-bit and I remember reading several threads that discussed certain components of ODNT being incompatible with the 64-bit version of Vista. Can someone list the incompatible products for me so I know what to expect? Thanks.
Congrats! :CONGRAT:
