I wonder if you worded your post differently you'd get different replys. My guess is most people still use xp, though you probably know better than I, and "most people" is very broad. I haven't even bothered to look at Vista yet, its to early for me still. If i was buying a new computer today, it would be dual boot, but i would still run XP. Dont mean to knock anyone. just my 2 cents.

Ok this is my new wish-list page/ RE: Reserving edge of tabbed dock starting at the dock itself, not including the tabs. OD+ is reserving the edge of the screen from where tabs end. When i want it to reserve from just the dock itself, not including the tabs. That way i wont have all that waisted area of the screen just for tabs.

Sir Lantec, See thats an idea i tryd too, because i actually have a non-tabbed dock on the same edge. But as soon as i uncheck "reserve edge of screen" with the tabbed dock it immediately pushes off the edge about a half inch. Its like it wont visibly sit on the edge of the screen without having reserve edge checked. Hi, MySecret. nice to hear, that should look tight. I also tyring my

I'm near done designing some tabbed docks, i notice that when i move any tabbed dock to the edge of the screen they want to automatically dock as a drawer, is this normal? Ok then i select reserve edge of screen, and they unhide. (now i notice this on all tabbed docks) OD+ is reserving the edge of the screen from where tabs end. When i want it to reserve from just the dock itself, not including the tabs. That way i wont have all that waisted area of the screen just for ta

im not sure what dock themes are but i build docks and my monitor is 2560x1600 so you shouldn't have a problem with my docks being poor resolution when zoomed up to size. Also im just trying to finish some with tabs.

oh, that makes sense. Strange that it doesn't show up. if you dont here from anyony mabey repost in the general forum. Also this will fix that problem; Next week check out my post in OD+ Gallery ive been able to put OD+ icons w/ flyout-menus and zoom effect etc. on to the Window Taskbar. That way you can still use the taskbar as well which is popular w/ Window blinds users. This would also fix your problem. Also then you can see the text with the application icon thats running ins

searched the forums but gave up. Is there a simple way so increase the font size on the tabof a tabbed dock, or is does it only ajust to the tab zoomer. The font tabs seem much smaller thn the tabs, i prefer not to have a huge tab. I guess if there is no option i could shrink the tab on the canvas, and OD+ would think its bigger than it is?

never had that problem. so it doesn't show up after you drop it in the dock? You could try right clicking the dock then add shortcut then in properties copy and past the link to your C: drive were ie7.exe is located. if that doest work leave some additional feed back someone will probably be able to help.

thought id piggyback on this post. OD+ Id love to see more than one color applyd to a dock or tabbed dock, currently you can only apply one shade of color, this isn't to exciting, and it also limits the artists ability in creating the dock to only use colors that take well. (especially for tabbed docks were you have one color per tab.) An example would be to have 2 colors that create shading styles or variants, or patterns. or different masks. (Even two colors wo

I used to have a 1920x1200 monitor, they work well for to windows side by side. You always find yourself dragging the windows to half the page, or trying to remember to close the app in that position so it will open in that position. About a yr ago i picked up the apple 30" display & the problem has been worse ever since and getting to the point of frustration. Why cant i find an app that puts a button on your window that when you click it it zooms the half the width (or

instead of worrying about what awards mean or how far you are behind somebody I don't mean to be misunderstood. Ive seen different posts about how stardock needs to cultivate new skinners. This is an area were i don't see it doing that. As for stardock, i love these products. The more skins are created, the better my computer looks. I think you misunder

(Sir)Lantec, Thanks for the reply, really liked that last wallpaper post. PS i also tried ctrl-X & Ctrl-V, the cut works but the past doesn't. That would be a great addition for a future release if any one wants to forward this. 'Ctrl + drag/drop' from desktop into dock folder Also be cool if u could add an icon to the flyout menu by cut&past.

Its cool how you can drag a a file onto a dock icon exe and that program will launch opening that file. (like the Mac dock) Is it also possible to drag a file onto a folder in the dock and it will copy or move the file into the folder, do you have to hold down ctrl when dragging of somthing? If theres no option for this it would be a great option. if theres no option for this does anyone know any software that can do this?

anyone know of any good desktop dividers, im currently using Desktop Organizer & Arranger Sometimes while online i do get into a download frenzy, next thing you know ive got 200 icons on my desktop. Before moving them I wish i could easily arrange them in windows or groups on my desktop by simply dragging. (before dumping them into the correct folders. Im hugely disappointed windows hasn't changed anything regarding this area of the desktop. Or does anyone know of a sof
