I started coding in 1982. I have developed software protection and license schemes for Windows beginning with Windows 3.1, through all the 32bit iterations up to XP. I am VERY familiar with the Windows system and registry. I am not paranoid. I am not a newb. I am not stupid. I simply do not want to install a download nanny/license nazi on my computer. That is my choice. There was nothing express or implied at the time of pur

SDC is also how you get the latest updates to each of the apps. You DONT ave to run it 24/7, and it isnt "spyware so cant understand the beef but if you really just wanted the files why didnt you grab the "CD" option nd just at for it to arrive? Not freaking out. I simply don't want it. It was not stated up front that I would be required to install a download/license nanny to be able to even access the software I purchased. There isn't anything to get over. I don't want SDC, I want the software I bought. It's pretty simple.

I don't want Stardock Central on my computer. I want the software I paid for. If this were stated up front, I wouldn't have bought the software. If this is my only choice then I will have my credit card company dispute the charges. Right now, I don't want anything to do with Stardock.

I just purchased Object Desktop. When I received the order confirmation, it contained a download link for Stardock Central. That is not what I ordered and I don't want to install this so that I can use the software I purchased. I didn't agree to this prior to purchase and I won't do it. I want the software I paid for. Where can I download Object Desktop?
