actually the Free Maya version is NOT good for learning in fact its TOTAL AND UTTER GARBAGE.. do anything detailed and ur gonna have a MASSIVE headache trying to focus on urmodel trough the little holes in the GIGANTIC WATERMARK.. watermarking renderings.. limiting sizes.. no external plugin.. totally ok.. but the fucking viewport?.. Besides.. Mayas PLE might be used for learning.. I think the XSI Experience can NOT.. for 1 MAJOR reason.. even if Maya saves in a special format that only IT can
