Every time Objectdock starts it produces an error, "Objectdock has recovered settings from previous to a recent crash while saving,...." Objectdock then halts waiting for a reply which in turn stops my machine booting up. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?
Yes I have changed the theme a number of times. It usually clears the problem for a while but it eventually comes back when the conditions are right. I haven't been able to nail down the exact combination of events that causes it, but it has just happened again to me this time while using the Alienware theme. I haven't tried the Blue Ice theme yet I'll give it a go and see how I get on. It's nice to know someone else has the problem though, for I while I thought it was just me.
Nothing, it's an extra space between the window title and the standard menu bar.
I can't follow Lantec's advice because it isn't an actual toolbar it's just a blank space, but I like the sound of your recommended extension anyway MySecret.
Ok. More information. It doesn't happen when Firefox is first started up, it only happens when I leave my machine for a while and the screen saver kicks in. When I log back in the blank toolbar has magically appeared. It happens with every skin I have tried so far.
I have what amounts to a completely blank toolbar above the menu bar (at the very top of the window). I have only noticed this happening in Firefox up to now. Any ideas? Windowblinds 5.5 (Artwork skin) Firefox 2.0.0.2
I'm not sure if this is a Windowblinds problem or an Objectdock problem, but when I open the start menu I get erratic behaviour. The first time I open it, it seems to be ok. On subsequent times though it becomes slightly transparent and then completely transparent except for the buttons at the bottom. It toggles between these two states at what appears to be random numbers of opens. I get the same behaviour on different Windowblinds themes and different Objectdock themes. Any ideas?
I have had exactly this problem on a system that was working fine for months, suddenly my system tray dock disappeared. I tried all the suggestions here with no success. Then I realised that I had just installed the trial version of DesktopX. I uninstalled DesktopX and hey presto problem solved, sytem tray dock is back in all its glory!
No 'fraid not the icon is embedded in the .exe file. Thanks for the tip on the system tray. The system tray was not a problem though that bit always worked fine.
Why is it that when I right click on the KeePass icon the task bar the Dock Entry Properties option is grayed out so I cannot change the icon. It is possible however, to change the icon in the system tray when KeePass is minimised to the system tray. I tried putting an entry into the theme's .ini file manually but this doesn't seem to work.
#3 Yes I very much agree with this. This is very big part of the task bar functionality which has been left out.
Download the latest version and replace the dll in the animation folder. Then when you right click on the icon you should see the "configure shortcut..." option.
