A nice feature of OD Plus is that you can have multiple ObjectDock(s) to replace system tray, taskbar, and start menu. However, not every application works fine with the OD tray. WinBlind 5 is one of those. I cannot find any quick fix for the problem as OD doesn't allow you to change the icon image for running process on its try. Anybody got ideas on how to solve this ? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Sad.gif" border=0 ALIGN="

Even worse, the startup shortcuts are actually added to two places - the common user (i.e. All User\Start Menu\Programs\Startup) and the specific user. This problem is, when you have a lots of items in OD to slows it down, OD may load up twice. This can be checked very easily - there are 2 OD icons in the system tray, and there're two processes in the task manager. My workarround is to put the OD startup process into the Run section in HKLM
Updates: ObjectDock 1.20.023 hide the taskbar BY DEFAULT and OVERRIDES my OLD SETTINGS in 1.11.022. This perhaps the cause of the problem in my previous post.
Yup but it introdueced another one, which forced me to uninstall ObjectDock... It's weird that when ObjectDock loads, taskbar with WinBlinds skin disappeared (transparent). FYI. I have the following things running on my laptop: WinBlinds 4.59[b].002 ThemeManager 2.22.032 IconPackage 3.00a.092 IconX 1.00c[b].002 WindowFX 2.20c.00
I believe that the problem is caused by IconPackage 3.00a.091 which was just released on 06/07/05. I was very happy with StarDock's work before that crash happened - it not merely crashing my ObjectDock, but also IconX & WinFX, as well as Norton SystemWorks! Since that day I have no luck as I don't have a older version of IconPackage. <a href="../r
Dear Support, I have been using WinFX since May this year, and I am now using the latest beta. However, since the beginning, I found that it doesn't work with Eudora and MSN Messenger 7 quite well. In MSN Messenger 7 it's the shadow problem. The shaddow is lightly bigger than the window, hence, gaps between the window and its shadow. More trouble in Eudora. WinFX seems not working properly on my WinXP Professional. It only draws the shadow but
I have most of the ObjectDesktop components, but I don't use ObjectX becoz' it's too slow on my Centrino notebook. 15~20MB (at least) is required for a reasonable good-looking windows customization. This is the *FACT*. The is also true for MS!Plus themes (but I doubt that memory usage would be easily tracable in MS!Plus). Here's a glimpse of the memory usage on my notebook: CursorXP.exe 6,760KB (Spillion Purple) ObjectDock.exe 3,49
