thanks guys. I got it to work. UPnP doesn't work. I had to manually set the router to fowards packets once i did that it started working. I still get the message that it doesn't work from the game but it does. thanks ps. and ya hellgate is server based. Guess that was a bad example. :P

I have the same issue. Always get that message no matter what I do.
Anybody body have any success in using IronClad to host games? My friend and I have tried and have been unsuccessful. We've spent time playing with our Firewall and Router settings far more than actually playing the game. Opening and forwarding port 6112, and we discovered later, there was a port 6000 too. But nothing works. Now seeing that we didn't have to screw around with the settings AT ALL with HellGate London, I think a little time needs to be spent working o
Found a solution. MaxiVista kinda crude implementation but it works. Wish Multiplicity would work... Here's a link on the troubles they've had with CoH/CoV https://forums.wincustomize.com/?aid=76139#1120967

just tried maxvista software and despite not being as nice as multi it works with no crashes or problems in CoH. I dont like it as much though so hopefully they fix this to work Yep. it's like he said. Multiplicity is much nicer set up but MaxiVista does work. I tried it with CoH/CoV and Lineage 2 both of which would crash my OS (WinXP) with Multiplicity but they work great with <a href="http://www.maxivista.c
I just purchased multiplicity pro to use with EQ2. I have eq2 running in windowed mode on each machine and have not had a problem. However, CoH/CoV and Lineage 2 is another issue. On the Primary (no game running on secondary) both games start out fine and load the log in screen. However, the momment I click or type CoH hangs the whole system and Lineage 2 gives me a blue screen (something about an IRQ). The games as a default load in full screen mode. In orde
Wow! this issue has been around since, at least, Sept 2006 and it hasn't been addressed. I just ran into it myself. It's true. CoH/Cov and Lineage 2 do not like having multiplicity running. The combo completely hangs the system forcing a hard reboot.
