Least you got the heat, most towns I've been too are underwater. Flooding hit the southern part of NY pretty bad, and recently the town of Cato. Seems as though the heat will be here for the following two or three days. Which should help dry things up.

Cool, I remember my first time here at this site. like a kid in a toy store. Since the first visit It has become an addiction and all cool ways of customizing windows. The first skin that caught my eye I've downloaded just a few minutes ago due to this new laptop I have. Seti green by DavidK. It would be really cool to see some of these great skins get an update.

Personally for myself IE7 is quite more pleasing than firefox. Cutting out the intranet from the explorer itself was quite awesome, plus changing the default settings for the internet for home users was huge plus. I find using IE7 very gratifying.

haven't had that problem with watching dvd movies with windowblinds applied. Check your configurations on your power dvd. I use Windvd great little plug-in to the windows media player.

Ok Thus far no troubles, I have seen some responses where the classic windows skin applies. I had that happen when I clicked upon apply changes on the windowblind configuration window, Once I clicked apply this skin now within the center I have no problems applying any of the skins.

Hippie, after buying object desktop you are entitled to renew the subscription each year following. Which during the year you use the component tray to update the programs your using. Best part is the price for the subscribing is far less that each individual program costs seperately.

When using norton's especially nis 2005 or 2004, if a program, widget or gadget seems to need the internet for it to work, a window usually pops up from norton's asking what do you want to do with choices. When your running desktop x with widgets or what ever else you are running, never use norton's default settings. I've never have had any problems with any scripting due to desktop x or norton's just by allowing each individual widget or gadget allowi
