Eventually you have to just let people be people. Policing social habits won't do anyone any good...EVER!. This is another reason I wrote this. When I came across the 3rd or fourth 'harsh' criticism, my first reaction was to request that people who have not 'contributed' not be allowed to comment at all.

Happy Birthday!
There have even been a couple of flame wars in the comments sections I have found myself heatedly and regrettably involved in those flame wars, which is I why I decided to write this. I like this site too much and thought I could do better than lowering myself to a level I don't care to be at. Hopefully, t
Thanks NT, bichur, aimzz, and teddybearcholla.
I like to create or make things. Wether it's music or other art. I'm the type of person who will mow the lawn or paint a room and then look back at it 'for far too long' and admire what I have done. And I have this compulsive desire to be acknowledged for it...and more so...to have it liked. I am pathetic. But I love it.
It has been posed in the form of a question in these forums.."Is skinning an art?" Many have replied, and it would seem the overwhelming response is "Yes, it is." "There are painters who transform the sun to a yellow spot, but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun." Pablo Picasso. They stole it from Floyd the guitarist fo Muppet Fame. How do they get those little 'M's' on M&M's?
Yes. Do you have a secret?
I probably mentioned once or twice that I play guitar. I have found there are a few other musicians out here, so I am posting a link to some of my stuff that I have put on the web. Link
I was hoping for more response on this. I guess everyome's still busy with the Holidays. One little trick that helps some with the 'darkening' of resized png's to icons that HAS worked here and there has been to duplicate the image and set the copy to 'screen'. This has occasionally worked to lighten it and bring the detail back. Still looking
If you drive into it..you could 'try' to sue. If it's dug up and the 'hole' falls off the truck onto your car..you definitely sue. Dexter or Jimmy Neutron?
When I am making Icons I start in either 296 or 512...I find it easier to see what I am doing. When I go to 'resize' them..or even just make the pgn's smaller...a lot of the time I find they are suddenly too dark to see the detail or even get a good idea of what it is (Printers, Camera's, etc...Folders and files are usually okay). Does/has anyone else run into this? Is there a trick to fix this, like the number of pixels I have it set for
