Update: Turned off themes.... reinstalled WB, installed a skin I have been building.... After a reboot, it appears that turning off the Themes was the answer. Thx everyone for the help! D
I only have one thing to add, if you are really worried about particular emails, encrypt them or use a second service (where you are also poked, plotted and sold...). Either way, I am using gmail for my basic stuff and another service for my work/business items.

Sounds good, like what I have seen and heard, but still have reservations on security.... Would like to see this from MS but my mind is saying..."Yea..Right!" Either way, I am looking forward to it. Thx for the update D
On one pc I ran the gammit from 95 - 98 - ME - 2000 Believe it or not it is a 433mhz sys with 256meg ram. Took a bit of tweaking (eMachine) but 200 has been good on it the last couple of years..... The other I started with XP.. went to 2000 and then back to XP. XP seemed a bit more stable for my vb development..... as for ME... yow! should have skipped it. Bled like a stuck pig and never was really stable... Eit
You could make your own skin or download another toolbar set and apply it. If you decide to let Steve know I would recommend a screenshot showing the issue (pic is worth a thousand words etc...) Try creating your own skin... I am starting this and find it is frustratingly fun!
I am probably covering old ground, but...... Out of curiosity I compared WB and Uxtheme (Neowin). I used Aero 5203 / Black Mesa and a few others..... I have a 2.8ghz/533/1gigmem 256meg nvidia etc.... in otherwprds, plenty of horse power I run XP Home / MSOffice 2003, Adobe (photo/acrobat) and the nornal other various goodies..... A multitasking system that really works, the ability to reinstall/repair without losing app info.
Running WB 4.5 and trying out the free version of Skin Studio. The skin I am doing is going well but I have an issue I cannot find a fix for. The progress bar at the bottom of the explorer window shows as a black and will not display. Running Xp SP2. Tried changing out to a new graphic but no help. Any ideas on what I am missing?
