Only just started it. Trying to re-learn Skinstudio. I have that stupid shadow on the right side side of the start menu which suddenly appeared, and now I can't get rid of it!! there's still about 85% of the skin to make yet. :(

The only consolation you can take at a time like this is knowing that your dog was loved and cared for all his life, a priveledge not afforded to all dogs, unfortunately. This is the thought I try to keep in my head after losing my 15 year old Golden Retriever less than a month ago. I have decided not to get another dog, as I am too old now, and not healthy enough to exercise one. But if you are young enough, maybe it would be a good thing to give a homeless dog some love?

Hmmmm....... I took a look Ross, but your skin uses lots of those nested layers, and I never really understood all that! LOL. However, I can see that many of your layers still have "FX" next to them, meaning the layer style is still editable, and in my experience Xion will not display layers properly if the style is still editable. If this is the case, then you have a very long day ahead of you flattening all those layer styles, and the only way I know to do that is to create a new bl

Ross, I can't really see the problem on the SS, but, most problems with buttons (and other things) not displaying properly is due to Layer styles. When you have applied a layer style to a button, you then have to flatten that layer so that the effect is hardcoded (so to speak). Xion will not display a button properly if the layer style is still editable. Not sure if this is your problem, but if you want to email the psd to me I'll be happy to look at it and see if I can spot a

I got into skinning by finding out that I could change the wallpaper on my screen! It was very early in 1998, and I had just bought my first ever computer at the age of 41, and really enjoyed personalizing it. I was so impressed with all the images I found that I decided to buy Photoshop and make some myself. How hard can it be to use Photoshop I told myself!!........... 16 years later i'm STILL learning it!! LOL. but sometime in 1999 (I think), I managed to get a wallpaper onto Skinz.org
