Distant Worlds and Sins of Solar Empire (DW and SoSE). If anyone of you tried this game (Distant Worlds) that came out about 2 weeks ago from independant Australian developer please, I want to know what you think about it. ATI 5870 rocks. I never had a better card before that I know of and I won't be needing a new GPU card for many months since its also DirectX 11 compatible and I can already play DX11 games on max settings... The best thing for me is that I bought it new for only $359 from Newegg. :) It will of course get cheaper in time. Hey guys. Please help me to like this game. I played for a few hours and get to really dislike it. My most concern - every missions starts from scratch, every research resets, its like a time sink since devs couldn't come up with any good campaign that would lead you through the storyline and unlock only a part of researches available. You know something like in X3, or Imperium Galactica class games. So why do you like this game? Only because of the starship "lego"? P
I used to play Imperium Galactica type of games for years and got the latest one which different company developed - Hegemonia. So I saw GCII and thought wow cool game.
