Good to know about the research victory, to know things like these i made this thread ^^ i play on tough dificulty, where every AI is on intelligent ( I think the difficulty in which they dont get any boni) If there are more things I should know, keep the info coming :) It is very appreciated

thanks again and another question ^^ what are good values for a immense map with 9 ai opponents? I am asking planets, habitable worlds and extreme planets? I am trying to find a good setup to allow for expansion, without having to few or to many colonizable planets without running into the AIs too soon. In the meantime I'll be checking the modforum :)

thanks! about the galaxy size I was more thinking on the line of immense size ^^ actually I have one more questions: Are there any "essential" mods? (balancing, bugfixing etc) Also the ship range seems very large to start with, but I guess I will learn why it is so when I get more experienced with the game.

Hi, i recently rediscovered galciv 2 aand its add-ons and i have a question. What are in your experience good game setups for a long game with enough room to expand? what settings do you use? how many AIs how many minor AIs? Clusterd? So many questions ^^ hope someone can consult me :)

If anyone else has this problem: i just redownloaded and reinstalled and (since four is the lucky time ^^) this time it worked the only thing i did differently from the three times before is once sins was finished downloading (while it was veryfying it) o went offline and shiut down my firewall it installed i tried to start it and it worked the i started my firewall again downloaded entrenchment and while it was veryfing i went again offl

Hmm that might have worked but i tried it allready three times... and i really dont know if it is an installation error that happens three times in a row everytime with a complete new download... its disheartening ^^ i'll wait a bit more, and re install later if nothing else comes to mind, though i doubt i will have more luck this time :)

thanks, but this didnt help ^^ btw i have the same problem without entranchment, just with 1.12 if it helps the minidump reads: ...sins dump\sins-entrenchment beta 1.1-2008-12-19-14-20-02-2200-3944.dmp and the application error offset 00001ba2

Hi, first let me say i never had trouble with sins running on my computer, that is until 1.12 and entrenchment. Now whenever i start the game, the screen turns black (as if it would load) and after a few seconds, the game is closed and the only message i get is the standart windows "application error". All my drivers are up to date so i really need some help : ) thanks
