I guess a reinstall would be the next thing. Make sure you unload Windowblinds first. Then uninstall it using Stardock Central (if you dont have SDC do it via 'Add and Remove Programs'. Do a reboot and after that install via SDC (alternatively via an installer). Did you use any Docklets while running Object Dock? In the past memory leaks were mostly associated with the docklets rather than with the program itslef. I use both Adobe Acrobat (and print from it) and Object Dock and did not so far run into any problems. This DEP problem was supposed to be fixed with version 4.4 of Windowblinds. But it is definitively worth while to try and disable DEP for a while and see wether this was the cause of it.

I believe bootskin is just on of those programs that does not work with all computers (note that it is unsupported freeware for exactly this reason). The reason for this is that there is no such thing as a standardised BIOS. Manufacturers of computersystems often "tweak" and "adjust" the BIOS to their needs. Huuhh, "manually uninstalling" is the best way to mess up your system because it will leave heaps of keys in the registry. I would suggest you get your IT-guy in or someone else who has administrator privileges and get him to unistall it properly.

What program are you using to unzip the files? Most programs unzip into a folder (if you right-click on a zipped files you often get several options like "expand", or "unzip". "Open" usually only gives you the files in the way you described). Also note, the preferred way would be of course if the files would download as a wba-file and then install themselves after double-clicking on it. Hmm, I am not sure about that one, but it seems you have a clash somewhere after you upgraded to Object Desktop. Did you use WB on the same system (same CPU) before (what version did you use and did it skin your taskbar)? I am not sure what you mean with "unload with wbload". But since you have problems, I would rather use the "save as"-option. This will download the file as a .wba -file. (I think Mozilla downloads to the desktop by default, if you wan't to change that go into your download options menu). Anthony Spinks: What exactly are you trying to download and install (the name of the file). There are not really a lot of "Themes" available for Object Dock. There are a mostly different backgrounds or single png-icons. The background folders need to be placed into your ObjectDock\Backgrounds folder. While the PNG-files can be placed into a folder of your choice within your ObjectDock foler. E.g if you are downloading a heap of Office related

I don't use OD as a Systray, but in the configuration menu under "Positioning" you should be able to set to "Don't show in tray or taskbar". tell me if that is working for you
