Hmmm, just a few thoughts: Isn't it a truly subjective thing wether you like a skin or not and therefore think it is worth a 5 or 8 or whatever? Are the people who rate obliged to give good ratings just because the skin was made by someone well known? (please don't get me wrong here; I love Starone's work and this has nothing to do with what I personally think about her and her work) If only journeyman and above can rate and someone gets a bad rating; will everyone sta

How about having the initial admin rating which would determine whether a wall/skin is visible or not and then in addition a second user rating which would show up on the skin, but would not influence whether the wall/skin is visible or not? This is a very good idea and one I would surely support (provided I like the skin). You could also include matching wallpapers in the commercial suite. This way people could still "test drive" the skin without too much work involved for you (ok, I know there is still a lot of work involved but you know, it might be a little less....)

I am a Wincustomize subscriber, I paid for Object Desktop and I have purchased two Pixtudio suites but I have never made a donation. Why, you ask? Now there are different reasons: 1. I am a postgraduate student on a very limited scholarship 2. I am very naive, assuming that art published on Wincustomize is actually made by people who do skinning as a hobby rather than a using it as a source of income. 3. When I look at the seemingly "tight" skinner community at WC, I can't help b
