I would never go back to 32bit. In fact, I just put Vista64 on my laptop as well. The only drawback: Cisco doesn't have a 64bit compatible VPN-client. [e digicons]:\[/e]

This new poll is really hard to answer with just: "yes or no". Although they are made to a very high quality standard, they are very special skins and as such are not to everyones gusto or for everyday use. I would prefer to get some less "experimental" skins. :)

Hi Gavin, I was the other person with exactly the same problem. For more than 5 days I tried to purchase the premium-skins. I had cleared my cache, my cookies and my everything, but nothing worked.I had the same dropouts at the same stages of the transaction as you. Unfortunately I can't really help you as my purchase suddenly went through last Wednesday. I have absolutely no idea as to why though as I haven't changed anything on my system, and the email from sales told me to

Open up your WindowBlinds-configuration panel - choose 'Settings' - then 'Advanced user settings' - right at the bottom of the panel there is a check-box which sais: "I want the default state of toolbar buttons to be flat" > make sure that box is un-ticked. This probably won't affect the buttons on the start-panel but it should work on the toolbar-buttons.
Does sdmcp.exe have to be running now that Impulse.exe is running in processes?
It used to be that Stardock-mpc was needed for certain features of ObjectDock and DesktopX. If you don't use either, you might be safe to unload it. As to Impulse II. I found that it is much snappier than the "old"-version, even with the preload/fastload-feature turned off.

I once thought I had lost it and I was going crazy: I was living in a college on the third floor and I kept hearing the same little childs-tune over and over. Never ending, during the night, during the day...... for more than four days!!! Everyone on my floor made fun of me when I told them the story (and sang the tune), they even made practical jokes, like calling me on my phone humming the tune.... it drove me absolutely nuts! .... turned out some girl from the firs

These problems with Vista Ultimate and LogonStudio Vista started a long time ago, just after the release of SP1. There were several threads about this as well. The conclusion was to install the version from download.com. I personally still hope that Stardock will fix/update the Version in Impulse/SDC though. :)

About 10 days ago I suddenly lost all folder and drive icons in third party applications. At the time this happened I did not install any new software. The last install of new software was UT3 using Impulse, which happened about 5 days prior. The computer has been rebooted several times since the install of UT3 before the icons dissappeared. I would love to know what the state of this problem is. I had suddenly lost most of my icons (no new software-install happening at the time) and refreshing the icon-cache and rebuilding icons didn't do anything to solve the problem. So I uninstalled IP (after setting the default icons from withing IP) and noticed that not only were all of my Windows-icons gone, but even the icons from my Right-Click menu had disappeared. Re-installing IconPackager only 'restored' the s
Just as a question, if you have applied a MyColors theme why do you want the WB system icon showing?
Additionally to what Zu said: I have come accustomed to use the WB-configuration panel in order to change the wallpaper as well. It is not a real biggie. As soon as I have applied the MyColors theme for the first time I can use the different programs to apply parts or a complete MyColors theme. It's just that first time (and possibly after each update of the theme
on Vista 64-bit -- whenever I apply a MyColors theme, the full IconPackager application launches, instead of applying the icon package belong to the MyColors theme selected. I need to manually select it from the list and apply it. This is the same for all MyColors themes. On 32-bit, MyColors instead directly applies the icons as part of the overall theme.
...and here I was thinking that this was completely normal. ;) Another minor nuisance: Wheneve

Is this Vista64 bit compatible? I had previously tried to install version 1.02 (on the matching version of Winamp) but after installation Winamp just "ran" continously through the playlist but refused to play any songs. I had to un-install and re-install Winamp. Is this a known issue, or did something weird and unexpected happen when I installed ClassicPro? :)
the use of the 'helper' affects others.
Hence the right (or even duty) of Blizzard to ban/punish (in a virtual way) anyone using it.
This is third-party injury..
Well, that's a bit of a stretch. I agree that it affects their game-play, but injury...... :) The only way I can think of this as a legal case would be if Blizzard would have to implement costly counter-measures to detect the people using the helper-program. In that ca
And there, in a nutshell is why I have exactly ZERO interest in playing WoW or any other online role-playing game. Z. E. R. O.
Amen As to the topic. I can see Kryo's point here. Court-rulings tend to create/change the law as they set a precedent and writing and selling a helper-program should not become a crime. Blizzard can (and should) still ban anyone using the program.
