It is getting close. A little more polish and balance and I think it's ready to go.

Well it seems like most of the time it's a good idea. I think the trick is that they should only retreat out of harm's way if the rest of the team can still win the battle without them.
Oh that's very interesting. ClearType fonts in FE. FTW.
I knew who the author of this post would be just by the title of it. It just goes to show how different every person plays a given game.
So you guys have JoeUser.com already for blogging. I just discovered LittleTinyFrogs.com . What's the difference?
Wait! The Internet Justice League is all enraged about something that happened over 2 fucking years ago that they just found out about? Bonus Question: In that 2 years when Stardock's become obviously more successful how many employees of Stardock have quit for any reason?
Well that'll upset the Internet trolls who think they can strike back at the libertarians by not buying stuff made by Stardock.
The reviews of Warlock haven't been very positive yet. Has it gotten a single positive review?
I like them cheap. But I think they should have a maint cost.
I think this here is just a case of a minor burnout with regards of Elemental. It's good to have at least a short timeout on both sides. I myself will keep feedback to a minimum before the city management is overhauled.
I think it's a case of people looking a gift horse in the mouth. I think it's beyond poor taste for people to demand wholesale changes of the game and then when the target of those demands resi

Games are always shown to the press months before release. Do you read game magazines? What do you think those previews are about? Have you read any of the FE previews? They're all extremely positive, at least the ones I've seen.Yes, seriously! Given the extra hurdle to overcome from

Actually it's Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox.
Sigh he was supposed to take a back seat actually wasnt he? But he couldn't resist. He reminds me of some great talented people who always like to make things extra difficult for himself for no reason except because it doesn't matter because his talent, brilliance will usually win through anyway. Very entertaining to watch but too much drama...
How do you define back seat? He's not the designer. He's not the producer. He writes the AI
I agree bug fixing doesn't seem to have been given any priority. Last beta version various pathing issues were reported and those same issues are still present. The reloading saves issue you detail is significant and its not a good sign nothing has been done. I can deal with the bugs. I'm not expecting the AI to be good at this point. So I voted "fair".
Yea...if only there was some sort of chang
Voted: Good Agree with those who want decisions to have more consequences. This is particularly true in the economy and unit design.
Are you offering to refund the preorders if they dont like the direction of the game?
It's a beta, not a demo. [e digicons]:|[/e]
I hate to say this but I think the game is rapidly reaching the point where community feedback is worthless when it comes to polls. Reading the forums here is starting to be about is fun as watching a Star Trek convention question and answer session.
It really isn't that useful to have anti-fanboys (ultra critics) sitting there with their comic book guy voices saying how low they'd rate FE when any reasonable person knows that FE, even in early beta, is a pretty decent game. We all saw the polls. Virtually everyone who voted said the game was Great or Good in beta. I understand that some people get off on thinking that they are somehow better by saying everything sucks. But it's not terribly useful to the process
As of .86, I would give FE a 55/100.
So, no better than WOM you're saying? Or are you using some special review scale known only to you that we're supposed to telepathically relate to? Why give a "score" with nothing to reference to? I give FE two purple rainbows, a blue diamond and a purple horse shoe.
I'd vote city management. But I don't have any specific ideas on what to do that wouldn't make the game bog down or change the entire game.
Who cares what have been there before? I know there has not been a crossover game like the one I tried to describe, but why limiting yourself to what MoM did in the 90s, how Civilization does this or that or if FE looks so much better than War of Magic?
Because if you try to be all things to all people you end up sucking in all. Some of what you want are contradictory. You seem to want an RPG that has some strategy elements. That&
I voted "poor" and I really cannot say if you are on the right track. I had some fun with the current beta, but replayability beyond curiosity is low. I feel not much spirit or inspiration around this game, it is just the same old stuff we had a thousend times before. No sophisticated character building on the "rgp side", somehow bland mechanics on the military side and city building is completely unfun. The tech tre
Are you suggesting that the monsters graphics should be wimped out so that people with 6 year old video cards don't experience a frame rate slow down? Wouldn't it make more sense for you to just get a better video card?
