Here's an image. First, some context: the image you see is 1920x1080 but the screen I use is actually 3840x2160 on a 32" monitor. I spend much of my time at a zoom level like this because I can see wide swaths of the galaxy while clearly seeing ship, star base and planet locations. I'd just like to be able to toggle off the planet "labels" so I can see what's going on underneath without having to zoom into the area I'm interested in and thus losing the larger context. Take, for exampl

I'd really like an option to assign a key to toggle off planet "flags" when I press it. I find they really obscure the tactical view around the planets. Apologies in advance if there is such a key; I've searched for something like it but have not come up with anything.

Doesn't work with 3 monitors either -- in extended desktop mode. If you have eyefinity and group your monitors as one desktop, AFTD will start and allow you to set resolutions up to the size of your desktop (in my case 5760 x 1200). Haven't check how well it works in this mode yet, but at least it starts.

My icons are getting wiped out on the *installation* of Icon Packager. Here's the ticket I opened: /* Quote */ Upon installation of Icon Packager v.4.10.177 on Vista x64 Ultimate, all .exe files and their associated shortcuts lose their individual icons and are replaced by the "default" icon. I was able to (unfortunately) replicate this behaviour on 3 clean installs. This issue has been further documented by others at: <

I've had this issue for some time on both Vista 32 and 64 Ultimate. When I log off and/or switch users, all the docks are gathered to Monitor 1 when I log back into my account. To get the docks to return to their proper places on monitor 2, I then have to: (1) close and restart objectdock or (2) manually go into the settings for each dock and switch their position from Monitor 2 to 1 and then back to Monitor 2. Very annoying. I have a Radeon 1900XT with dual monitors attached. This prob

Hi Purge... I just discovered Altmeta the other day when I decided on basically a whim to join an empire. I was shocked to see my scores on the board there!! I've stopped by the forums but haven't joined yet, but I fully intend to... Thanks for the invite! <a href="http://altmeta.kryofx.com/char/3

That about sums it up, doesn't it! You might want to start on a small map with some less aggressive races such as the Altarians, Thalans and Torians (though they can all be very aggressive given the right circumstances). I often like to use a custom race with max economy, max diplomacy, high morale and high population growth. I find Super Diplomat is a good special ability since you get faster a

I have the same issue. My serial numbers are registered and when I log in I am shown my username and game statistics, etc. Unfortunately, after playing 2 games, my account still shows 0 games completed, 0 scores, etc. I have 24 hour connectivity to the internet via cable modem, so connectivity shouldn't be an issue. Any suggestions? Thanks!
