I have watched quite a few movies,tv shows, and what have you on my iPod while on my commute to work. Granted, it's not the greatest screen for long viewing but for 15 - 30 minutes, it's not bad and it does help the commute go by more quickly. Yes, you lose a lot of the detail but don't knock it till you've tried for awhile. I bitched too at first, but it's better than nothing and remember, the iPod was built for music first, video second. The up and coming areas sounds promising. I really am looking forward to the "How I Did This" section. It'll be great to see the creative process of the object dock icons and themes. Solid.
This has been a very interesting read, I must say. I first started with a Mac back in the 80's, made the move to Windows and haven't looked back until recently at my job where all they use are Macs. I still favor my pc but like the aesthetics of OSX. That's all I like about the Mac. If I wanted something as powerful as my home pc from Apple, I'd have to spend more money that it's worth and probably give up my first born child. I think there in lies the major problem. Cost. Why spend hug
