... and another thing ... for the uptime to fully reset, you have to restart - if you shut down, it will not clear the time.

It did not make a difference - it seems that the "uptime" on my system is the time between the updated Windows files and when the next update happens. This is not an issue with this program - it is a Windows and/or Dell issue. I would not know how to confirm those situations. I will learn to just live with it.

The numbers match - 20 plus hours up / I do not know how that could be / there was a system update and that is where this number starts / last night - there is maybe a hitch / I use the " Slide to Shut Down program "to turn off" my computer/power light goes off, and I figured I was good. I will test by using the Windows Start button and then shutting down to see if that helps. I will get back to you all with the results - thanks for helping out. Dennis

Hello - I followed the instructions as requested. I do have the latest version now - (yes, I did uninstall and rebooted) - I turned on (hard boot) my system at 8:30 am today, yet the info on my screen says I have been on for 17 hours and 37 minutes (when I loaded the new program on my system). It is now 10:07 am - seems the calculation is a bit off, yes? There must be something that is not clear, and your program can't figure out that the machine was turned off - just guessing. <

Deskscapes 2026 / on the desktop effects - system info/uptime - I have activated, and it works fine - uptime does not reset when the system is restarted - how do I reset when I power off and restart?

https://youtu.be/3CBo4FJ2mvM So many shows - the one above is a little more expressive - I never thought of myself as a regular anything - I am not sure how to put down in works what I am looking for - it may be more of an experience than a visual post - bottom line here is that one post (and others) have somewhat activated a memory I have a hard time remembering. I will not stop rambling on. betawolf

To Azdude - or anyone who might get a hankering - as I get older, certain things come back to my memory (maybe). In particular, and in this case, 60's/70's light shows. Used to contact a little toasty; sometimes, just the light show alone could be better than what it was used for (music, art exhibits, etc.). An old-fashioned light show would be an excellent addition to this machine. Another idea is a classic psychedelic piece of art (poster?) and makes it come alive as Azdude did with

So, Object Desktop continues to nag me that Start11 needs to be updated; I launch the update, it does its thing, I reboot, and there it is again - once I check in Start11, it tells me that I have the latest system - which one of these protocols is lying to me? Any ideas on what is really happening here and what should be done? Thanks Dennis

I have downloaded/installed the latest version of Start11. The Windows folder titled Universal Applications is now empty - before the update, there were many applications. Where did they go? Does anyone out there know how to reactivate this empty folder? Also, on the list of folders, if I try to access any program in the folders, my screen will refresh, and I will not have accessed the program I clicked on. This happens a lot but periodically - all I have to do is roll over universal applicat

this issue continues to grow more frustrating - now that I have re-installed Start11, all of the items under Universal Applications are now gone. Any idea how to get them back?

followed instructions as requested - problem continues to persist - I guess I will wait for an update on Start11

Scan run - system found errors and corrected them - the system still runs refresh when you access any menu items - at this point, I have to believe that it is an issue with Start11 - The Fences Loop has been addressed - obviously, if I do not use Start11 there is no problem - have we whittled it down enough to make this call?

WindowFX removed - the system continues to refresh but is not as annoying as it was - again, this happens when you choose a menu item like in the universal applications.

WindowBlinds has been purged - refresh still happens each time you access any menu item

As requested, Fences purged/reinstalled - WindowBlinds has been removed until compatible with W11 - any chance Curtain will someday be compatible? However, when clicking on a menu item, the whole system still runs a refresh - I no longer seem to be getting the Fences error screen - that's good - any ideas on why this annoying screen refresh? Thanks for your help on this.

I am currently running the latest Windows 11 on my new Dell system. In addition, I am running Fences, Start11, WindowBlinds, and several other Stardock products. For the most part, things work. When Windows decides it is time to refresh (I think), I am thrown into a loop where Fences crashes, and it tries to restart over and over. The only way out is to hit multiple keys until you can stop the madness. When you choose any menu items to Univers
