I don't use Hotmail or MSN Messenger and I'm never really off my puter long enough for the SS to kick in, but I downloaded it about a month ago (when I saw it in the monthly MS Newsletter thing I get) just to see the RSS "object". I'm a total RSS/News junky and it was really kind of cool to see it there (I had to put it in demo mode just so I could see it run...LOL). Island Dog: Is there a way to "rotate" the string of lights? As they are now, they can only hang from the top of my screen. I just bought Object Desktop Net. Ed., but i thought that I could update my WinCustomize account with the OD Stardock account and it would be the same as getting a sub. to WC????? I am so confused about this Windowblinds 5 Beta version...Ok so I installed Object Desktop to my computer, and opened up Stardock Central. It says that Windowblinds 5 is installed but when I run the program it says on the tray that it is windowblind 4.6(build 214). So how do I go about getting Windowblinds 5 to run? Any suggesti
The transparency will only work with WindowBlinds 5. If you just purchased the stand alone version of WB then it's version 4 and 5 is not yet available (it is still a Beta version not fully released to the public). If you purchased an Object Desktop Subscription, then WB5 Beta is available to OD subscribers via a download of the beta program in Stardock Central. Try posting this in the Stardock Support area of the forums and you'll likely get more input on the problem. DD
Check your firewall settings and make sure that you're allowing all WC addresses (this is the #1 reason why most people can't view thumbnail images). If that checks out ok, check to make sure you don't have a privacy service of some type (McAfee makes one) activated causing the loss of images.
