dreamweaver wasn't skinned - only firefox at this point. I never had any problems with per app in 4.6. this is new to me. all I can say is instability occured when I launched an app from another. Opera -> open page in IE. and Dreamweaver -> view page in Firefox browser. o yes and now when I launched Firefox from Dreamweaver (to view my web page in the browser) everything that was opened crashed. forgot that I also had Firefox skinned 'per application'.

I think I've narrowed it down to an issue with the 'per application' feature. All my problems with W5 seem to be related to launching or closing programs that i have given there own skin. usually after closing-- the next program I go to/ or return to starts hanging. Alot of funniness going on with the title bars -- blacking out -- titles overlaping each other like a jammed printer. anyone else..??

I now see that windowblinds will work on both sides - we can have our own skins - except that the skinning 'per application' effects both sides. I have the most current full release of IconPackager and it is almost working. I don't remember being asked 'to set for multiple users' during the installation. does anyone know if my favourite 4.6 skins will work in WB5. I use Luster and Inspirat. will they look normal even though they do not take advantage of the transparent effect. I would like to use WB5 upon its release for system stability - and perhaps a new fav skin will come along thanks

I guess you're right I couldn't find WB in the second user's taskbar - but launched it from the programs folder. and then it was definitely up. only caused a mish-mash of icons from IconPacker running on the other side. So I guess it's icon packager that doesn't play properly on more than one side. Perhaps I had asked Stardock about IP.

I don't know if this is a WindowBlinds problem. But my desktop icons often redraw, and then some of the drop shadows are suddenly darker then others. Most often caused by opening an explore window, but launching an program like FlashMX (40,000K at load) is sure to provoke the error. any brilliant minds?

Does anyone know how to do a crystal-clean reinstall of WB4.4. Everything sort of went strange with 4.5. I use two monitors and ati hydravision. -(not all) but certain apps open in the top left corner, or just below the tool bar. -strange things with some of the skin borders, showing a gap. -can't keep IE opening at full screen - especially when launching from Opera. anyway, I uninstalled 4.5, deleted registry folder & program

New occurrence- At the end of my startup programs in windows xp, my shortcuts on the desktop quickly blink and then the drop shadows from the text are suddenly very dark (and sometimes irregular). Moving or opening a window over top of them will restore them. Doesn't seem to be a graphics driver problem since a reinstall didn't correct it. I am an Opera browser lover because of the creative skins that are available. Now I’m also hooked on WindowBlinds. I’m extremely delighted by the skin I use for Windows, but sometimes when a program comes with its own skin, I like to have a matching toolbar. I do this by adding a different skin via ‘Per Application’. Such is the case with Opera – I use Opera’s brushed aluminum skin, and then add a metallic window blind so that the toolbar matches.

I cannot get the progress animations to work in WB 4.4 enhanced. I'm using window blind style '607' (which doesn't include an animation). I've tried to set an animation, but it will not play. Do certain styles not allow animations?

Hello, i've been testing out windowblinds, and I've found the one i'm looking for (607) The only thing is I would like for the scrollbars in my personal Opera Skin to be alot thinner. The Skin for this app was perfect before. If I am unable to modulate the scrollbars in this app alone, I wouldn't mind if I could shrink the global size of the scroll bars - just a little tried 'per app' and couldn't make it work thank
