Regional pricing should be and have been already successfully attacked at courts (at least in case of STEAM on EU territory). I consider it to be a totally unlawful practice.
Are you some kind of liberal ? I mean, seriously bro!? Without regional pricing, a new game must cost the same the world over, right? In that case, WHAT would a game cost?

The rpg bundle lost, Age of Wonders III for $20 lost, and now this 4x bundle will probably lose as well. Don't worry i'm sure age of wonders will be on a flash sale or daily at some point.
Yeah, like RIGHT FUCKIN NOW ! [e digicons]:D[/e] </p
Real real-time strategy could be interesting experience, alas, all we have are real time pseudo tactics. But yeah, turn-based all the way. Just imagine M.A.X.-alike GalCiv based game... Mmm. Sold!
You mean that the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War series are "realtime pseudo tactics"? What do you mean?
The reality is just that...reality. There currently is no better way with the same benefits. Steam is also very fair to developers and Frogboy isn't the first dev I've heard say the same. Most of the time it just isn't worth it to make those kinds of sacrifices for a small minority of customers . It sucks but that's just smart business.
<

The saying "ALL things come to an end!" have proven itself to me and in this instance it means that ID is in decline. When the first DOOM came out, it was the BEST computergame in terms of technological advancement with it's 3D graphics. Couple that with superb music, gameplay, atmosphere, multiplayer, weapons & monsters together with the cool levels and you got 1st class game. In short, everything was fantastic about the game! DOOM II was actually an ex

My experiences depend on the game. When I lose in Company of Heroes as Wehrmacht I blame the US for being OP. When I lose as US however I don't get angry and I'm really impressed with how Wehrmacht managed to win over me. When I lose a hardcore character in Torchlight, Diablo II or Diablo III I blame the game for putting me against 8 monsters and a boss in a cramped space with very little chance of manuvering. Even if I teleport out of there or quit it doesn't matter. I&#3
You could try out Atlantica Online, it's free to play, excepting that there is a huge pay to win component as you approach level 100 and beyond. Loved the game, but they [Nexon] has the most offensive cash grab that I've experienced in an MMO via their Item Mall.
Is it worse than Star Wars the Old Republics F2P mode? I just realized that if it was her friend who did that then it's really easy to give someone trouble if you got their facebook/twitter and such account information. If she's going to be punished for this, then that means that announcing things isn't the way to go. Being quiet and doing things in absolute secrecy is the way. Jafo, you must be a bitter, angry person for wanting to punish people so severely for joking. It&#

Here I thought that Mantle was the API to increase performance a lot and what happens?? Friggin DirectX 12 comes around and says it will do that! It might be locked to Windows 8+. Not sure what SteamOS will have support for.... I'ts interesting times! It's good you posted this. Has more weight when a developer says things.
Um, I don't think Stardock would be considered an indie company anymore... I know they aren't HUGE, but they recently mentioned having 7 games being developed at once, if I recall correctly. That's a bit beyond the scope of indie.
That is if you consider 'indie' = small team making games in their garage. Technically, VALVE is an indie [e digicons]o_O[/e] That defini
Sony is a pretty evil company. There is a story that back in early 2000 they secretly booby trapped their Playstation 2 consoles with a mechanism that would eventually burn the laser when a Mod Chip was installed. They were trying to hurt the mod chip business by making the consumers victim of the failures blame it on the modchip makers and installers, all the while it was Sony with their sabotage mechanism. I'm more of an RTS gamer and the same problem existed before 2004 when Dawn of War was released (though it is a MUCH smaller issue due to an RTS match taking much less time to finish. With Dawn of War we gotted Area Control that was standard and you had to change to Annihilate if you wanted that instead. In Dawn of War there were these strategic points you had to capture to get the basic resourc

Those of you who feel that this will delay the next Elder Scrolls game might be correct. If TESO gets successful it might become like World of WarCraft.... ....There hasn't been a sequel to WarCraft III for 11 long years now....
... you can research upgrades for just about every aspect of a unit: cost (to make it cheaper), hit points, speed, how much ammunition it can hold as well as the firepower and range. Unlike, say, Starcraft, you can't just harvest resources anywhere, you have to have a way to get the minerals back to your base, either by trucking it or building conduit to directly connect it to your resource network.
&nb

I believe that Elder Scrolls fans would play atleast the story while MMO fans will play it enough to see if it is competetive enough. Myself, I don't want to spend $15 a month and I would only play an MMO if I had some good friends to play it with. I was willing to get into World of Warcraft but my friends had quitted by that time....

1. Age of Wonders II: Shadow Magic - Modern tactical combat focused game that shines in multiplayer. 2. Age of Wonders II - Like AoW II:SM but with critical balance flaws like combatheroes being overpowered and flying units with range attacks having unlimited attacks! (which means that if you can't fight back, you'll either lose or tie after 250 turns!) 3. Heroes of Might & Magic V - Only ever played campaigns cause this series is boring and broken on custommaps.</
