Found it on Steam a few days ago and it looks like a cool game. My main question is if it will be balanced/competetive in that there shouldn't be obvious choices like mage is better than other classes or archers are overpowered etc.

Gamingmedia attacking their MOST loyal supporters, the hardcore/serious gamer, is fantastic! It will mean that the hardcore/serious gamer will STOP reading the corrupted gamingmedia which will suffer and may die. It's rightful retribution for those editors who allowed the "Gamers are dead!" articles. In the end, the hardcore/serious gamer will go to Let's Plays and trusted community figures like The Cynical Brit and Angry Joe.

There is a great point that the US and UK should not have exclusive rights to spying on the whole world. I absolutely understand some countries opposition towards that (if they can do it then so should we!). It will be interesting to follow this. I feel that Putin will not stop easily.
The change sure made the Steam frontpage ALOT busier! It looks better and I think it's better but I'll have a better verdict soon enough. They are planning on introducing undead necromancers, not as a race, but as a class. The cool thing is that you can play as a necromancer with every available race. The race can then gradually turn into undead! That would be very cool! They are asking for your ideas, as they are still i

Hey! Saw this developervideo of Wastelands 2 on Kickstarter like six months ago where they talked about multiple choices, immersive gameplay and just making a really good game! So I'm interested! :) Cool avatar you got btw. I would guess at High Elf/Wood Elf that have joined chaos and got the Third Eye of Tzeentch.
Aaah the famous "no smoke without fire". I guess it's human nature.
Ah so THAT'S why I've always been such a nice guy :) All those hours of DOOM, Quake, Duke Nukem, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat shaped me.
18 Billion Swedish Kronor....jesus fucking christ!! It's so much money it makes my head spin! Notch has succeded in life. Can live freely from now on. So Microsoft will release Minecraft for their phones. Ok. I think they'll go heavy on merchandise and eventually do a Minecraft 2.

GOD I despise those social justice warrios! They weren't around in the 80'ies or 90'ies and we DON'T need'em now either! I know why they've come to gaming now though.
