Cool. Thx for that, SirSmiley. What about other DX widgets/gadgets? Can we move them externally? Or can we send just a show/hide to a gadget? Or is there a way to make a gadget NOT respond to the universal show/hide hotkey? I've got three gadgets on my desktop also. I'd like to be able to show/hide two of them, but not the third one. The universal hotkey hides/shows all three, as it's supposed to do. I know I can do it by clicking the tray icons one at a time

Hey all, Got an idea I want to run up to see if it's even possible: Is it possible to link other programs to a DX object so they move as it does? Specifically, I'd like to make Winamp and Rainlendar slide on/off screen along with a DX object I'm going to put them in front of. The goal is to have this panel slide out of the way when I click its control button, and take both of them with it. Is this even possible? Can I somehow use DX to control the positions of these o
Checking up on old post: Suggestion, then, if it ever gets updated...use three copies of the chosen image? Put the first one, move it over and put another, move them both and put a third, move all three until first reaches right side, remove first, move two, remove second, move remaining, remove last, repeat. Not very smooth, but neither is the default windows one. As long as we chose smaller images, it should look pretty good? Tanks!
Yes,I'm connected to a router, and through that to a cable modem. DX and Samurize have no trouble reading the full net traffic, I'm just hoping someone knows how to "wake up" Sysmetrix. I've experimented with connecting directly to the cable modem. Under those conditions, SMX sees the net traffic just fine. But, since I have a home network, that's obviously not a viable solution. Thanks!
Searching hasn't helped with this question: Is there a fix/solution/workaround for when Sysmetrix won't read your network traffic? It lists my NIC in the configuration options, but it won't actually report my TCP/IP traffic. It shows both the internal loopback and my network IP address, but when I select the IP address, nothing else happens. I've found a few posts that describe a similar problem, so I know I'm not alone, but no answers. Does anyone know of a way to make Sysmetrix hap
Any information on this yet? Any fix or workaround? And is there any way to back up its settings, so I at least don't have to rebuild the entire thing? Thanks! Trip Hazard
Cool! Instant responses! TYCUS: 1 gig of ram Seldom: The dots follow the cursor, and vanish when CursorXP is disabled. It's not a trail, or any other CXP setting, I've tried turning each on and off. I'll follow up on the joke you're talking about, but its very unlikely...my wife and I are the only ones with access, and we run VERY high security against outside "attacks". And no, it doesn't happen on her system...only on mine. TH
More info: It happens with diff. cursors, and it happens just moving around on the screen. TH
I hope this is the right place. I couldn't find anything better, so I'll put it here and see how badly I get my ears boxed CursorXP slowly accumulates a little cloud of black pixels over the cursor as it runs on my system. If I disable/enable it, they go away, then slowly begin to accumulate. I tried to take a screenshot, but they didn't show in the screen shot.(?!) It caught my cursor fine (starfighter, if it matters . . . I haven't tried a different one yet), but not the dots,
Thanks, Boss!
Get out the clue-by-four and whack me with it, okay? Logon Studio, in the edit mode, allows me to specify the exact size that I want the picture to be stretched to . . . . Thanks anyway, each of you! Trip Hazard
Hey all, been using Bootskin for quite a while, only now getting around to researching my question: On the regular Windows bootscreens the three-part progress cursor scrolls on and off the screen smoothly at each end of the progressbar. Is there any way to recreate this with Bootskin applied boot screens? Currently the cursor appears intact at the beginning of the bar, scrolls to the end, then jumps back to the beginning. (Looked around, didn't see anything addressing
Hey all! Will there ever be any plans on maybe making LogonStudio resolution independent? I recently went from 1024xwhatever to 1280xwhatever, and my favorite screens are now tiled and broken. I've confirmed that logons are indeed resolution dependent, so I was wondering if there might ever be a resolution INdependent version of LS? maybe a nominal cost "plus" version ? Failing that, does anyone know of an easy way to change a logon to a larger screen size? Or do I hav
