sounds coool, Starfish. were you talking about imovie? I actually went to a training today to use imovie in my classroom...we learned to edit, add effects and so forth...I still need practice on it, but was pretty fun to do.
I'm not a world traveler, yet ...I live right across from Mexico, so I've been there of course... I'd love to go to Italy, Spain, and England someday...maybe even Ireland and Scotland
Pax, Crae, and Hippy Ty for the info...I do use MacOSX at work....we use the ibook G4s..and although i am still not familiar with some of the applications, I am getting pretty used to it, and don't find it too difficult to work with. If osx has some similarities with windows, that would be great. I wouldn't feel as intimidated by switching over if I decide to.
danny, LL, heather: actually, I had a much longer lunch today! We had to attend an all day technology training at another school, and they gave us an hour lunch, which is heaven to teachers....lol....we laughed, complained, swapped tales, merrily ate, and were thankful we didn't have to have orange pear cups today

yes...it's funny and scary at the same time. Actually, your post lured me because I wanted to share something my Five year old niece said today. She was watching some nature special on Animal Planet, then turns around to me and asks, "Are you afraid to hug a duck?" LoL...I was like "huh??????" The crazy things they come up with.
Accept your O.K-ness...sometimes people get so stuck in their negativity, that they think it's odd to feel good...or maybe feel that they are not worth feeling good. Just let go of the negativity and immerse yourself in what you are feeling right now. Who knows..maybe your okay-ness will upgrade to feeling good soon.

I have the message toolbar, but for some reason, nothing happens when i use them. for example, when i try to bold words, nothing happens....and i've tried the image and link bars..and nothing has appeared...tyy for sharing the html codes though..i'm sure I'll toy with putting other stuff up sometime.

well...he's not a bad looking guy...but incredibly, fantastically, magnetically appealing?? don't think so....I actually think his popularity got to his head when he was over at MTV...and that made him even less appealing to me lol
lol sounds familiar...when i was growing up my familly would have their own version of pigs in a blanket..they'd take a corn tortilla, put a hog dog weiner in it..and roll the tortilla up...then they would be cooked with a bit of oil in a pan...they looked kinda weird, but didn't taste bad...some ppl would even dip them into mustard to get a taste similar to a hot dog lol...but it seems like cheese would taste better...
GW, I think several of us on this forum are probably going through some bad times...I myself have struggled with depression on and off. It sucks and hurts, I know. You have your days when you want to Joyously sing out to the world..and you have your days when you just don't want to exist. It really sucks that we can't all have beautiful days every day. I had a sucky day today (came home tired...argued with someone...felt lonely most of the evening)
I admit I love it when my b/f sends cards, gifts, flowers, etc....BUT...I have given, given, given as well... I sent him a "just because" amazon.com certificate a few weeks back...and gosh...he showered me with so many kisses that day (albeit "phone" kisses, but I still enjoyed them) lol
