quick browse-by... *everyone* should have an active registry monitor running upon boot up to monitor registry changes which allows one to say yes or no to registry changes. this is first line computer defense, along with a few other simple things which will allow one to pretty much do the net without worry.
no problem Randy, actually I don't remember much of the pity party the collective threw for ourself. going to do everything possible to make it never happen again though. I have to go jump in the shower for my doc apt this morning but I will let you know what is going on soon. Be good or at least be the best you can be at it c-ya<br

It will explain what it found and what it did with it... It is probably zapped by NAV already. One thing though, if you had a Default.css in your Windows

you mentioned NAV... do you happen to have NIS also? If not do you have any process viewer that will allow you to see what is actually making port connections? just as many children have to trust the molester they are left in care of... before anyone go spastic I am not calling anyone in this or any administration a child molester. but the fact remains that if you ask any parent who is not party to such an act will almost always claim at first "I never saw anything to give me the idea they would do such a thing, or, I could never imagine anyone would do this to a child". but in time they will admit there where in fact signs which they

they hold at least 10 others hostage at this time as reported by International News last night... I won't go political or twist this thread around with my thoughts and feelings on the whole issue. But I will say everyone who is not military needs to get the hell out of the region and stay out until thing are really safe to be there.
very true... I was actually sent an email suggesting an IT position in setting up and configuring networks and wireless data communications. Very good money but I could not stop laughing at the thought of being on a tower dodging bullets, complaining about it while trying to align antennas with a signal monitor... thanks but no thank you...
hehe, Cerebro thats ok, as in-active as I have been for a while now it is not surprising I haven't seen any mention. Of course if I did, I probably just skipped past it
