/me grinz and sidles nearer the lovely steaming beaker of coffee... Tanx muchly. always love a good cup of coffee! You know, I've been playing at this site for over six months and never had the time to really look around till recently. I enjoy reading the message boards and sometimes responding. I've tried a couple times to convince trillian to allow me to get on the irc chat but it's fighting me tooth and nail. I'll eventually figure it out. or just break down and re dl mIRC. L

Just a rejoinder to pdoland, in your comment you asked "But I've got a question - are you expecting MS to release a never version of Plus! 98? Fat chance. But you expect Stardock to release new versions of OD for 98?" well, my answer to that is, as follows: I can daily download new plus!themes. There are countless themers out there supplying me and will continue to if I choose to utilise that program. Those themers will continue to produce beautiful little packages that a

I apologise. Evidentily I misunderstood the thread way back when. I am not worried that I won't be able to upgrade my stardock products beyond a certain point. I am more concerned with the lack of available skins that I will be able to use. In icon packager, there have been so few new packages available, and now the latest exclude my OS. So far all windowblinds skins will go both ways. Object Bar has had a dearth of new offerings *note ob is the one link we non-xp users have

I guess you're right backstreet , But I have to wonder about two very important things.. to me anyway. It seems object desktop was initially designed to make the old look new, and the tarnished and blase'look sparkly and fresh. If the old OS is ignored in favor of the new OS, how many new skins will be made that will be compatable with the old OS? I guess I'm skin hungry, and since I haven't learned well enough to create my own yet, this issue is relavent(SP?) to me. (Hubby says skins w

Bakerstreet, I understand what you're saying. I have recieved the "we're sorry but we're no longer supporting winME" message from the microsoft server.(though I must add they've updated two more holes in the system since that notice.. go figure). I don't understand why no one has suggested there be a seperate program for the newer technology. there is always room for improvement to an old program. And with the complexity of programming it is possible to find new and innovative

Hmm.. I see. So you're saying those of us who are limited in both "resources" and $Resources$ are to be excluded from further support just in this site? or from stardock entirely? I would love a clear explanation. I am just slightly infuriated by the implication that the system I use is so tragically passe that it must be dumped post haste and I must run out immediately and purchase a product I have no faith in whatsoever. I am aware of the faults of the system I am running. I am also aware

I have great respect for wolves as an intelligent animal. I also relate to the way wolves interact in family settings. I feel a certain kinship with pack animals. I am the alpha female in my home and tend to be alpha in any company I keep. Thus, I created a nick that said how I feel. Unfortunately there are so many "Wolf" names out there I had to alter it slightly. I remembered my favorite epic poem in School was Beowulf and voila! I chose wulf. well guess how many wulf's there are? tons. so I
