The latest build had no changes to wallpaper support and the display properties desktop tab is not touched by WindowBlinds and never has been Weird. Never happened before here. Not a biggie; I just figured that since this is a beta I should report any change or oddity that occurs... <TABLE

The only way to make the wallpaper stick now is by using Theme Manager. Additionally, the "Stay on Top" setting for Object Dock Plus no longer works for me on either PC since WB5 .008 was installed. This is a weird one. Two days ago I downloaded the Pixtudio ThunderStorm WB5 skin and then the ThunderStorm Wallpaper - T-S1280.jpg - for wallpaper. Immediately after installing the latest WB5 beta and SDC, first I wasn't prompted to restart my PC, which is a first for WB5. Then I noticed that my wallpaper is set to Pixtudio's PixOffice, which was what I had loaded before ThunderStorm. I right-clicked on the desktop and in display that wallpaper was no

Not pushing... Just wondering. I didn't realize for several weeks that they weren't compatible - I thought the WB5 beta was just killing me. Then I found the developer notes saying they couldn't run together. (Wasn't there when I first ran the WB5 beta). So I temporarily unloaded WindowsFX and am working with the WB5 beta. But I s

Thanks. I did look again and did find several this time. Probably been a week and a half since I looked seriously. Some are fantastic - but I noticed most are dark themes. Not that I don't like the darker themes, but I need a mix - change it depending on my mood! Using Pixtudio's ThunderStorm right now.

Drove me nuts for a while... Or should I say "nutser"? After battling the SDC "refuse to connect" issue earlier today on both my desktop and notebook, uninstalling and reinstalling - using the remove.7 patch, etc., I finally got them both working. Then I fired up my notebook a little while ago and kept getting "Your login is not valid" from SDC. AAAAAGG

OnKn0wn, You say that SDMCP.exe was still present and running after uninstalling a Stardock program. Do you mean that you have no more Stardock applications on your machine? If that's the case I can understand the confusion. A little more detail as to your specific situation? There are probably more Stardock apps installed, or possibly just Stardock Central... Wincustomize Browser?

Mike, I finally just uninstalled both betas - WB and SS - and then reinstalled, all within SDC. That seemed to get it working. What's the fix you posted? Will I still need to run that too? BTW - OT a little for this thread: Your Arrow skin is working differently with the fonts on my notebook and desktop PCs. Notebook looks fine. Desktop shows all fonts as dark on dark in all menus. Both are running XP Pro SP2. I went section by s

All in all, I think it's a good plan. I only wish I had the skinning talent that I see here. But I don't, so I pay. What's so hard to understand about that? I guess it's just that it's been "free" for so long that any change like this is bound to cause a ruckus! Hey Doreen - I've used at least one of your WP layouts from Marsware! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/

Mike, I had previously uninstalled both WB4 and WB5 beta when I first discovered that SDC didn't hsndle this. (Although it has handled it in all other instances for me). This latest fiasco was via SDC with WB4 NOT installed and WB5's previous beta running fine. And the new SDC version didn't just bork my latest WB5 beta installation, but the latest Skin Studio Pro beta installation also. First it claims that SDC cannot verify your registrati
