I'm sorry, these responses don't cut it. Desktop enhancement products from Stardock, which offer complementary features, ought to work together. Saying "they operate in the same portion of the Windows desktop" is as much as to say "we encountered some difficulty and were too lazy to figure it out".

Yes it did. A little more experimentation revealed another thing: the problem only occurs with some skins. For example, among the default skins installed with WindowBlinds, "Leo" causes the problem (and is my favorite), but "Diamond" and "Aero Metal" do not. I think it has something to do with the specific changes that the skins force WindowBlinds to make. In fact, I think it might come down to whether the size of window titlebars in the skin happen to be exactly the sam

I hope someone can help me with this. I am running Windows XP. If I have WindowBlinds loaded, and open a project under Visual Studio 2008 (a C# Windows Forms project), Visual Studio automatically changes the size and locations of all my controls on all my forms. A little experimentation, and help from MS tech support, has led me to the realization that this only happens if I've loaded WindowBlinds. More specifically though, it only happens if the them

That works to bring up the menu, however, there are two problems with that solution: 1. The menu pops up in one pre-defined location, not dynamically wherever the ObjectDock icon (or the mouse) is. 2. The menu pops up as a static ObjectBar on the desktop, and does not function like a popup menu. It does not go away when you click elsewhere, or make a selection, like a menu should. It seems that I (or someone) would have to write a Docklet explicitly to create a m

I've been using IconX for years. I like several of the options you get with that product. Now Stardock comes up with "Fences", and I look at that and think "cool! I'd like those features too", so I download and install Fences. It comes up and says it's going to create a couple of standard fences, which it says it has done, but no fences appear on my desktop, and when I rightclick on the desktop, no Fences options appear. Of course, IconX is loaded, and if I unloa

The best I could find was something called KKMenu. It works pretty well, but I still haven't found a popup-menu docklet that will handle non-standard image sizes/shapes. My menu items are actually PNG files that are wide, but vertically thin -- so that when stacked together, with no intervening space, they look like menu items in a standard menu, only I am in control of exactly what each selection looks like. I also have a mouseover image for each one, so that they appear to

I don't seem to have that, so I'm guessing that's in ObjectDock Plus? I'd be happy to pay for OD PLus, if it can do what I want, but in all the screenshots at the website, there's nothing that looks like what I want. My OBar popups have images of a non-standard size that are links to websites. Each selection has a mouse-over image that makes it appear highlighted. I'd post an example, but I can't seem to get an image to post here.

Ok, I have some cool ObjectBar menus that I designed, that pop up from icons on my main ObjectBar. I'd like to use ObjectDock, but I want to keep those menus. I've found that the submenus are actually seperate ObjectBars, like for example one is in a file called: "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\ObjectBar\test\Bars\New Popup Menu.obbar I've also learned that you can just have an ObjectDock icon link directly to the .obbar file, and it will call up the menu, just l

I'd like to use ObjectDock, but I've got some nice popup menus that I made in ObjectBar that I'd like to bring up when I click on an icon in ObjectDock. Is there a way to do this? this would be like opening a folder as a menu (which you CAN do in ObjectDock), except, I want to open an ObjectBar popup menu when I click certain icons in ObjectDock. Help?
