You're going to not want the dock to zoom out if you decide to do it this way (I'd choose another action like rocking or something), but here's one way to do it. Experiment with how big you want your dock set at. Then once, you know the size you want the dock to be for your liking, take the image you use as an indicator and edit the PNG file so that the width is the same and you have a much larger height. All you should need to do is unzip the files to your "backgrounds" folder. The program should find them then and do the rest. If you are having problems beyond that, I guess make sure the .ini files are going along with the images so that the program knows what do to with them.

You are correct, IslandDog. I am in support of Obama over McCain, but this is pushing things a little too far. I think perhaps a better solution would be to simply remove some of the tremendous tax breaks these large corporations have to hold them a little bit more accountable for their surging profits with jacked up prices. You know, SinTactics. I have the same exact issue at the moment. I'm not able to see the "email user" option even on users who I know have it enabled. I've tried it on Firefox 3.0.1 and IE7. If anyone has any solutions to that mess, I would be interested in finding out the answer too :D

This is simply an "idea" to take the strain off of the military in this nation. They are already suffering with many problems. I highly doubt that anyone is suggesting to arm civilians and provide authority to protect at their own personal whims. As was mentioned in the article by ID, this is a vague statement Obama provided to probably gain some support in the armed services; I wouldn't take it to such extremes as allowing people to apply their own brand of vigilante protection.
