Someone speaking positively about the forums and support?? Is this really happening? I love it!! I've always received help quickly and don't like seeing all the posts about problems with support. Thanks for bringing attention to it Sheila :) Great work SD and WC!

You might be able to find some info in the forums, but you can always search the galleries for themes in WindowsBlinds that you might be looking for. Here's a link to the WindowsBlinds gallery: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=1 I browsed for Starcraft, and found nothing but you could try other keywords that might help in your search.

I would say it depends on the application you are running. Some naturally minimize or close to the system tray, while others will minimize to the taskbar. You can show the taskbar contents on the dock of your choice by going to the dock contents tab in properties menu. Haha, I used to get as frustrated as you fotoboy. Not to the point of almost ditching the program (because I love it), but it was so aggravating to open up unwanted programs. I use the tactic DaveRI mentioned. It still happens with me from time to time, but I think as you increasingly dislike the problem, the more careful you become to not accidentally sneak that mouse to the edge of the screen in practice. I still have moments of pure rage when it happens repeatedly. Interruptions suck! B

If you are looking to make a WindowsBlinds skin, SkinStudio is a wonderful program put out by Stardock that makes the skinning process easier. I'd recommend sifting through that program or reading up on it. As far as making gadgets, widgets, and the like...I find that complicated when I try, ha. So I'm sure I'll keep an eye on this post for some intro pointers myself :D

Mine did that yesterday, avklinger. I booted up the machine and all my docks vanished and I was left with one blank dock. I just rebuilt the docks I was using. Takes some time, but things like that can happen. Unless your problem is repetitive and the docks you reset continue to not load, this might be your best course of action. If the problem does persist after you recompile your docks then I'm just as lost as you.

Hey all, My question is simply how might I be able to tell which icons go for which weather description in the weather docklet for ObjectDock Plus? I'm working on modifying the icons, but they just have numbers to go along with each type of weather. I like this fact, but some of the icons with different numbers have the same image associated and renamed. Is there an easier way to figure out which icons go with what weather description instead of waiting for them to pop up in the docklet

I heard about WindowsBlinds back in 2004 and became a member while enjoying customizing the boring, plain Windows original interface. From there I moved on to try the various other Stardock programs. I haven't started skinning anything until quite recently, but I've loved using this site for all my customizing needs for years. I've come to enjoy the work of so many professionals and newcomers alike. I love being able to learn more or help others out if I can too. Wincustomize has been an ex

Thanks for the help. I just figured out that the issue had to do with my web browser. How stupid is that? Anyway thanks for responding :)

Hey, For anyone who could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to skinning and I'm trying to upload a .dockzip for ObjectDock. I know the file works and unpacks properly and I know I have a large enough preview .jpg file to upload along with it. When I attempt an upload though, it tells me that my preview image can not be uploaded, that it isn't the right type, but it is for sure a JPEG image. I want to get my first skin out there, any ideas? Kurtin
