The challenge of multiplayer is just that - finding the right environment to FOSTER multiplayer play. Good Examples :: - Friends who have a "game night" where they can get in, play for a few hours and then end the session pending the next chance - Co-Workers who prefer playing a game at lunch - School/College kids with nothing better to do It goes on and on. I cannot argue against the numbers out there that show minimal percentages that p

...ouch. Shows me for upgrading to v1.1 to try out the new AI.. guess they're not to keen on losing =( --Micah
Perhaps they were just trying to move a unit out of a city, but it ran back into the city and hit next turn on them ... happens to me all the time! =) --Micah
I attempted to apply the beta v1.12 patch to address the issue with no luck. GameSave available from :: http://www.dropbox.com/s/9x4tll72po638wm/v104%20First.EleSav Crash Files available from :: http://www.dropbox.com/s/z6sdlag0vrx6vfl/FallenEnchantress1_12-2012-12-18T22-42-15_177.zip Custom
Whatever is happening here is complete installer failure. Using WinRAR, I right-clicked on the "Sins of a Solar Empire - Trinity 1.34.exe" file that was in Downloads\Stardock and selected "Extract to Sins of a SolarEmpire - Trinity 1.34" then browsed to that folder which showed the following two files :: setup.exe SinsTrinity-en.zip I right-clicked on SinsTrinity-en.zip and selected "Extract to SinsTrinity-en" and then ran Setup.exe The setup obviously cre
Interesting idea.. to me it's often just a measure of finding the right timing/inspiration (Muse?) to make me complete such a project. I think I'll need to spend a little more time understanding the game and the editors.. but it would be a lot of fun if you could potentially craft a RPG adventure out of doing this... --Micah

Once again, thank you - your comments and notes here should be handed off of to the Sales Support Staff imo! --Micah
I tried to order tonight once the build has been posted as being available, but when I click on the big PayPal button a pop-up appears saying "Sorry, you cannot check-out using PayPal when your order contains a Pre-Order product". I tried doing checkout thinking I could use a different PayPal option under there, but doesn't appear to be the case. Any other suggestions? --Micah
You can preorder using paypal during the open window once Beta 3 begins, in which the orders are charged immediately rather than put on queue. This period usually lasts about a week. We can't charge orders manually, they need to go through the system.
That's actually exceptionally helpful... and from what I have read thus far, Beta 3 - you are shooting for this week.. that said, given that it's Thursday... how good is your aim? =)
Okay.. so I got all excited about my 10% coupon for Elemental's Army getting 1000 members and I've been on the edge of Pre-Ordering the game so I can enjoy the frustrations of the Beta and work to contribute to the development of the game (I'm an owner of Galciv I & II, SINS.. basically there's probably entire months of my life that've been spent in StarDock games).. so I went to do the Pre-Order... ...but we can't do Pre-Orders with PayPal. So I contact Sales - I figure "
This has me all thinking about rocking out to Styx and Def Leppard while gaming all hours of the night (early Bard's Tale, SSI RPGs) on my Commodore... and I remember the giddy feeling of upgrading to a C128D... ugh! =( --Akkim the Ancient.
