Have you considered doing this without the word in it? IMO that is distracting and takes away from the artistic content of it. That center area would be a nice placeholder for icons etc.

I believe you Doc, but you must know me well enough by now to know how I am going to react to something like...
You wish everyone to say, "Phoon, you're right.". OK, Phoon. You're right. Now, wait.
I was never concerned about archiving this somewhere as that was always a selling point of digital downloads and also why I bought a second copy ( not at $4xx.00 though ) of this app on my personal account. IF I cannot find it on archive/tap
It was originally installed from a stand alone installer. You used to be able to download those from your registrations page, similar to what we have now. The file is most likely on a backup tape that is kept off-site. Can I get it? Yes. As for updates, ver 3.5 has not been updated I believe since before Impulse. I may have opened the firewall at one time for install via impulse or I put that system on a different outside connection, or downloaded the latest st
You *could* have solved this yourself using the Impulse method
LOOK Doc. PEOPLE WERE TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOW UNINSTALL IMPULSE. Now, I'll enlighten you some more. If you are in a corporate environment that is behind a proxy server IMPULSE DOES NOT WORK unless you bypass said proxy and punch a hole in the firewall. I am in such an environment for this request. At a company which paid $495 for DesktopX Pro
Doc, I could understand it easier if it was a nice WORKING beta that I'm getting. v4 should simply be pulled from availability at all. Replace the repository with the right version and case closed.
In 7 days it will be a month since I brought this up and yet I STILL do not have my software.[e digicons]:S[/e]
I've a useful tip for those that still do fresh installs of Windows XP. A majority of large enterprises still must use Windows XP for a multitude of reasons. If you are in I.T. in such an environment you obviously find occasion to install Windows XP on a new PC. Even if you are a home user you may still use XP and have to do a fresh install. This will help you. During the last week or so it seems that MS has somehow managed to break Windows Update on fresh installs. I have a
Wow.. once again someone overstates their own importance and assumes the whole world is talking about him... damn... I was simply complimenting Cyndie's style, nothing more.. period! Get off your high horse John and quit reading things that people aren't saying about you.
Cyndie, Your skins are ORIGINAL, UNIQUE and very very classy. I hope you don't turn in to a cookie cutter, and stay true to the artistic visions that make your skins beautiful.
Yeah, I knew Snowy but I really don't see any reason to rename it based on an obscure, almost 10 year old blind unless the owner, who I'm assuming isn't even in the community anymore..objects.
Are you serious? Unless the original one is YOUR work it would be in extremely poor taste if nothing else if you use that name. How would you feel if someone created a bunch of blinds ( good quality or not ) and used the same name as your work?
You may wanna rethink the name, buddy boy.
DAMN Snowman, what a memory!
Ahhh.. so it was a "SmoPedley of the Unknown Funk" production film. That explains all, (and quite possibly his fondness for .... turtles)
Also, emails to users from Support should not be posted in the forums.
and why IS that?
It's been mentioned ad infinitum
It's also been mentioned "ad infinitum" that the support system is broken here and completely lacking IF you follow the normal prescribed channels. - HOWEVER, in all fairness the staff. It isn't their fault. It is SD's helpdesk SYSTEM that is #$@ked up, not the people.
Damn you, Phoon, you just reminded me of the time I caught a bunch of yayhoos watching something called Animal House: The XXX Parody.
- No Beavers were harmed in the making of that film.[e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
Probably something I buggered up...
doubtful. One can only mention the word PoSmedley so many times in a thread before it fouls up. He's kinda like Beetleguise in that regard.
Whuuu.. starkers, did you say Smedley's ass was fat? Damn... thats below the belt! Geez, he's fugly, smells funny AND has a fat ass! Poor Po', nothin left but the turtle luvin now, or is that funky turtle luvin.. I dunno but it isn't giving a very good mental picture..
end up shiting your pants on your Birthday.
HA! Like that would be anything unusual for him. I hear he does that just for fun and to make other people around him uncomfortable. He's a real piece of work that one. I hope his birthday is as fucked up as a football bat!
thanks for clearing up the status confusion.
Thanks RND!
I received an email from Zubaz on 8-10-11 stating that support is still working on this. Also noticed the ticket status is "On Hold". Ok, what is "On Hold" and more important, WHY is this "On Hold". Why would you guys even think about having DXPro v 4 available for download under a customers apps. Not only is it Beta but it is a complete POS beta that is known to not function even remotely well. I just cant fathom why this is such a hard issue to resolve.
So in a relative manner of speaking this led you to think of Ben Cartwright, which leads one to Adam, Hoss, and LilJoe. Now we know that Adam was played by Pernell Roberts who in turn played the role of Trapper John MD long after his stint with Hawkeye Pierce. Once can only deduce by this thinking that you have a longing for home brewed fire water or hot nurses running amok in tents!
do you fall on your head alot?
