I'm glad you have reconsidered your initial thoughts. Now, with that in mind, I'd ask that you consider that it is not realistic to expect someone to install that "fix" on their system to address a Windowblinds alignment issue. The concerns need to be addressed at the Windowblind ( Skinstudio ) level. So, simplified: Don't give up, If it is your solution of choice, for your OWN satisfaction with WB then that is wonderful, but don't expect the mas

You don't see skins of that quality much at all anymore. All of the (good) ones of that era were original concepts and stood out from one another too. No one's posted a shot of THE best though (IMO)... Antares by Treetog.

Aero was so appealing that there really wasn't an overwhelming need to skin it as was the case with XP. I find the interface of Win8 to be very functional for me (after the learning curve was passed ) and thus will not revert back to the old methods. However, the "tiles" need to be addressed,
When I was doing this, I definitely noticed that there was a trend where the quality of new skins has dropped. I'm not even sure how we change that.
On Win8, WB is pretty much dead air unless you want to use Start8. Start8 is great but it is not forward thinking. Find a way to customize the native 8 interface without forcing people to step back to the old technology. For many, it is handy but it is

Jorge, I am so glad to hear that you ARE indeed still on the planet. As for your hiatus.. I still think an announcement would have been the courteous thing to do for us. I'll be looking forward to renewal when you are 100% back in the thick of it then!!
I'm sure there will be quite a few folks sadden by that news.
I was "saddened" when it was promised that a theme creator would be forth coming along with other nifty new features and then the sole entity of Winstep left his customer base and application to dry rot with no explanation at all. That is plain shitty PR. To ME - Winstep died a long time ago.

How are you privy to that info? Jorge has been AWOL for so long that it is entirely possible the plug has been pulled.

well, technically she wasn't singing "with" Barbara Streisand. Barbara wasn't actually there, so she was singing with a "recording" of Barbara Streisand... However, she is fantastic by any standard!

Jim, 8.1 naturally does this. I think you either have to turn windows ability to do it off, or on. Can't remember as I went back to 8.0 because of the dang tile colors.
